About this property
Buffalo River Farmhouse--Access to the river is just 2 miles past the farmhouse
Come stay with us at one of the premier locations in the Upper Buffalo River Region located minutes away from Jasper, Arkansas, the Buffalo River and the Boxley Valley. Our farmhouse is smack dab in the middle of the best of the Buffalo being less than 10 minutes to Kyle's Landing and a 15 – 20 minute drive to the Buffalo River access points of Ponca, Steel Creek, Ozark and Pruitt. You will find some of the best hiking in our region close by as well. We are only 1.5 miles to the Buffalo River Trail and 2.25 miles to the Buffalo River at Kyle's Landing and to the Triple Falls hike. We are conveniently located in the middle of Jasper and Ponca/Boxley Valley being 10 minutes to Jasper and 15 minutes to Ponca. Did I mention the millions of stars as well as the Milky Way that can be seen in the dark sky here? Amazing!! (Our area has recently been designated as an International Dark-Sky park.)
The house sleeps 8 and is located on six acres and is set back in the woods off of Kyle's Landing Road. Because of the coziness of our home, it is a perfect place for a romantic getaway for two, but because of the large bedrooms upstairs, it would also be great for a large family vacation.
Our farmhouse was built with a lot of charm and character in mind. Pieces of old homesteads have been integrated into the design of the home bringing an old-time feel to it. As you walk in, your eye is drawn to the wall of windows in the kitchen that bring the outdoors in, and the walnut butcher block counter tops add to the rustic feel of the renovated kitchen. It is a great place to prepare a meal for dining outside on the big wrap-around porch.
You will find that the farmhouse is very roomy, and it can comfortably sleep seven. There are three over-sized bedrooms for your comfort. On the main level is the master, and it has a king bed, adjoining full bath, and wrap around windows overlooking the pond and woods. Upstairs are two additional bedrooms that almost feel like suites. One bedroom has a king bed plus a twin that adjoins the bathroom, and the other bedroom has 3 twin beds making it a perfect kids' room! There is a Jack and Jill bathroom that the two upstairs bedrooms share.
Keep in mind that the quaint town of Jasper is only 10 minutes away as is elk viewing in the Boxley Valley, so this truly is a perfect location to enjoy all the area has to offer. If being in the heart of the Upper Buffalo River Region while staying in a comfortable home filled with old-time, rustic charm is what you desire, then we would love to have you come stay at our Buffalo River Farmhouse!

This was the second trip here for my wife and I. We enjoyed this place so much last year we decided to stay again this year, and it was just like we remembered. This is a location we will definitely revisit in the future, and hopefully with our kids.
We absolutely loved the farmhouse! It had everything we needed, and the beds were super comfortable. The property was peaceful and very clean! It was centrally located to Eureka Springs and Branson...which was really nice. Kathy was so nice and made our booking experience very easy. We cannot wait to go back!
The Farmhouse we stayed in was everything and more than we expected. The rooms were decorated well and each was equipped with many amenities. The kitchen was very well stocked with kitchenware and the appliances were great. The location was ideal as it was off the road enough to insure quiet and safety but close enough to groceries and dining. We chose the farmhouse because we enjoy hiking and exploring the Buffalo River Trails. Our host, Kathy, provided us with exceptional and kind hospitality. We will certainly return to this location
This felt like a home away from home. The rooms and furniture are perfect, cozy and comfortable. Everything that we needed was stocked whether the kitchen, the laundry, bathroom or just cozy blankets. Appreciate all the details!
The farmhouse was a beautiful serene property located close to many different activities near Jasper and Ponca. We loved the farmhouse and our time there!
We loved our short stay at this wonderful home! It was so nice to sit out on the porch and had family game out there! We would definitely stay here again! House was well stocked and beds were comfy!
We stayed here with our kids and my mother-in-law for a family wedding and had a wonderful stay. The house is perfect for a family, the location is beautiful and easy to find, the hosts were excellent communicators and very clear about what and what not to do--it made for an ideal weekend in a truly beautiful part of the world!
My husband and I decided to plan a quick trip to Jasper and stayed at this great place. I loved walking in after a very long drive to a warm beautiful farm house. We needed a getaway and this was perfect. Clean and welcoming and the house has everything you need. The porches were wonderful to drink your coffee and watch the wildlife . You will love it there!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our cozy stay at the farmhouse. Very comfy and has all the essentials and then some. Was perfect after our day hikes to chill, laugh, and relax. Loved how peaceful and comfy property was! The information on local hikes and such were super helpful. Kathy is fantastic to work with and very thoughtful!
The house was homey, comfy, and beautiful!
The master bedroom bed was wonderful, as was the pillows.
We enjoyed the porch with all the beautiful Fall
Colors surrounding the area.
The area was quiet, and just what we were looking for.
Would definitely stay again.
Very roomy and comfortable place located right in the middle of everything that hikers could want for this region of the Ozarks. Sleeps 6 adults perfectly and we had wonderful meals prepared in the well appointed Kitchen. Plenty of great sitting and conversation areas. We would definitely stay with them again
3rd time rental. To be fair I've only booked this one property in the area but when you find the perfect spot why look elsewhere! Hosts are magnificent. Highly recommend this property.
My wife and I stayed here I celebrate our 12 year anniversary. The cabin was very comfortable and homey. We cooked every meal here and found everything we needed in the kitchen. The location is quiet and beautiful but easy access to the highway to go hiking and sit seeing. This is definitely a place we would love to come back either with our 2 kids or by ourselves.
We enjoyed staying at this beautiful home near Buffalo National River. What a wonderful place to view the stars at night. We hiked, caved and explored nearby trails, bluffs, caves, hollows and waterfalls. After our adventures, it was great to return to a cozy, comfortable home and have a laid back evening.
