"Right across the river from the Musée de la Bande Dessinée! Requires a bit of an uphill hike to get to the center of town but there are also easy nearby bus stops to take you there. Service was fantastic, breakfast was tasty and the hotel is pretty neat. No AC though. "

"We had a great week and this house, it’s a fantastic property well equipped for 3 families with 7 children all under the age of 13. The terrace and pool area were perfect for long, lazy lunches in the sunshine. We had a slight issue with the freezer that was dealt very promptly by the helpful and friendly owners. Would definitely recommend this as a place for friends and family for a get together."

"A charming old house with excellent modern facilities. The house is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. It is set in a pleasant garden in a small hamlet and is very peaceful. There are plenty of interesting places to visit nearby including some very beautiful Romanesque churches and a remarkable Gallo-Roman site near Talmont. "We arrived late, after driving hours through a massive storm around Poitier, only to be "greeted" by one of the most unpleasant characters I had dealt with in ages ! We may have woken him up but that is no excuse for his general behaviour and insulting comments towards my wife and I. Breakfast was basic to say the least. No plates, curdled milk, some bread, no forks not "eating" spoons for the cereals. At least the cafe machine worked."
