"The staff were friendly and polite, listened to our requests and offered help when needed, such as arranging transportation to and from the hotel, but communication between the staff was sometimes a problem. For example, there is an amenity offered by the hotel in which guests can request drink delivery every morning to their room, including type of drink and delivery time. Twice we did not receive drinks when we had requested them. We had to follow up to receive them.
The grounds, tours and activities offered by the hotel are amazing, such as their coffee tour, and the meals offered in their restaurant were very good. Our room was okay, very basic in terms of comfort and amenities, but our bathroom had some issues, including a shower whose doors did not fully close, and a toilet that ‘shrieked’ when flushed. It was repaired twice while we were there, but the problem was not resolved.
Overall, we were satisfied with our stay there, but better communication between the staff would help with services being provided in the best possible way."
"We loved our stay at the Coffee Estate Inn. From the moment we checked in, the receptionist was welcoming and helpful, even recommending beautiful routes for scenic drives nearby. The accommodation was amazing, and the estate itself is truly stunning. The photos really do not do justice to the scenery. We also enjoyed the short hiking path on the property, which made for a peaceful and beautiful walk. Breakfast was freshly prepared, and we especially loved the fresh fruit. The lady who prepared breakfast was also very kind and friendly. One small suggestion would be to improve the coffee served at breakfast, especially since this is a coffee estate inn. It would also be a lovely touch to include some coffee products in the rooms. The only downside was that, even though the temperatures are cool at night, the room could still get quite warm. My partner prefers sleeping in a cool room and struggled when it became warm at night, as there was no air conditioning. The portable unit provided was unfortunately not very helpful. On our last day, the weather was cooler, but the shower was extremely cold and there was no hot water. Despite these issues, I really loved the place and would happily come back again."
"I cannot say enough good things about the property, staff and our experience in general.
First of all the staff accommodated my late arrival with the greatest of ease and grace.
We took advantage of the spa and had amazing treatments.
The food in the restaurant was top class and the location amazing!
Our bungalow was by the stream and it was truly idyllic!
Can’t wait to stay there again when we return to beautiful Panama!"
