"The property itself was great. Owner lives at the property, so that was handy. Nice to have a pool, nice patio. Comfortable bed. Good shower, plenty of hot water. Have to buy coffee pods from owner, unique coffee maker, expensive. Kitchen not well equipped., but doable. Cannot walk anywhere. Too far. No Uber in Curacao, so you have to rent a car (cheapest we found $35.US per day) or taxi. $30.US round trip to most places. $55.US from the airport. "

"The apartment is very well equipped and all the utensils and furniture were in good condition. The staff were very helpful and gave us tips on where to snorkel. The only negative is that the appliances are European and, for an American, difficult to use without a manual."

"PROS This home is as pictured. The view from the porch is beautiful. There is a constant breeze (wind!) that keeps the living area very cool. You would never know if it is a hot day. "The location couldn’t be better - directly on the beach! The ocean waves are just a few meters from the balcony. The beach is perfect and usually completely vacant. Snorkeling is amazing right off the shore in shallow water. We saw a whole variety of fish, sea urchins, coral, eels, crabs, etc. There are three restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend the gouda cheese balls from Brisa do Mar and the tuna from Villa Vis! You will definitely want to rent a car to explore the island....
