"Stayed over the Anzac Day weekend with extended family including older (70s) and kids (8-12 year olds). All able to find something fun to do. Dad caught a carp. We collected wood for an outside fire and toasted marshmallows. Also hired kayaks from the Jameison Caravan Park with pick up at the Jameison Brewery. "Had a great time, fantastic location right on the Jamieson river. River was a little low but still able to paddle and cool off. Easy walk to local cafe, general store and pub. House accommodated us all comfortably, plenty of use of the deck area and fire pit. Short drive to the nearest boat ramp. Jess was very efficient in answering any queries we had, check in was easy. Overall a great weekend."

"A very warm and welcoming house. The sound of the rippling waters was wonderful to sit and listen and watch. Also being able to walk and catch a trout! The house was clean and well presented, everything you want for a comfortable stay and we were very cosy. The bed was very comfortable with quality linen. Our two labs loved the river and the property as well and we hope to come back again."

"The house is great for large groups - we were a group of two extended families and the property was perfect for the kids to run around. The house itself could have been cleaner and we were disappointed by the small number of utensils provided - there should be at least enough forks and knives for the number of guests staying (I think we had 12 forks total for our group of 14 and there are a total of about 17 beds). "I found the place based on the map provided on Stayz, the owner never gave the address so it was a little hard to find. The queen bed in the second bedroom is broken and unsafe to sleep on so we had to sleep on the mattress on the floor. No dishwashing soap provided at all yet check out instructions requested for all dishes to be washed. The location to mountain entrance is excellent and it was nice to see the kangaroos in the morning."
