"The room was large and nice. I really appreciated the roll-in shower and the provided shower chair. Mobility impaired, so those made my live much easier. There was one huge issue though... The shower only produced scalding hot water. I called the front desk thinking that I just wasn't understanding how to work the controls. But no, the front desk informed me that was a known issue with that room, and that it should never have been given to me. I ended up essentially having to take a sponge bath, soaking a cloth and letting it cool before using it to bathe. The other... surprise... was the there is no Daily maid service, so on returning to the room on the second day of my stay, it was still in the condition I'd left it. I was told that they only provide maid service if you stay 3 days. Again, not a deal breaker, but unexpected. Perhaps this is industry standard now, I don't know. I don't travel much. The third issue, again, not a major issue, but inconvenient for someone mobility impaired, I called down to the front desk for a couple of small items, and was told that they had them and could provide them. I said thank you, and hung up assuming that they would be run up to my room. I waited some time, and nothing... I called back down and was told that they had them, but I needed to come to the front desk to fetch them as the desk attendant was evidently the only staff present and couldn't leave the front desk. It would have been nice if that had been made clear at first."

"Location decent . Not enough or any really towel bars in bathroom. Garbage cans in common areas were always overflowing. Coffee ran out multiple times at breakfast . Food was just ok at breakfast. Eggs were awful. Cold French toast. All waters and soda at front desk were very expensive. No indication that there is actually food you can order from the kitchen..I happened to ask since it said there was an on site restaurant and the front desk gave me a menu . Wouldn’t stay again with all the choices in the area."

"First of all, these folks are extremely nice. Anything I needed, they were available. That being said, there were a couple issues (which I already discussed with the host so they won’t be surprised.). First, these cleaning should have been better. The freezer and the fridge weren’t clean; there were hair and crumbs in both sides. There were cobwebs with bugs in some of the corners. The icemaker and water dispenser were broken. The plug for the tub was broken so you couldn’t take a bath downstairs. And I wish I had been warned about the steps going up to the apartment. They were very steep, and you couldn’t take only fit half your foot on the step because it was so narrow. It was very very difficult carrying my small suitcase up the steps. A younger less clumsy person would probably have less trouble than I. On the positive side, the beds were comfy, the sheets felt great, and the towels were nice. The tv was nice and big. The kitchen had everything you needed and was well stocked. The only reason I wouldn’t stay here again is the stairs. I really think the cleaning probably was a one time thing. And the kindness and responsiveness of the hosts made up for that."
