"Breathtaking tranquility. Balcony view from the room was gorgeous, high above the city. Pool was a plus for some exercise. Room was functional and cozy. Not much to do other than dining room and walk to the castle. You need a car or taxi to go up the steep hill to the Parador."

"Fantastic hotel, location and loved the restaurant as well, a must. Pool area was fabulous and we had a wonderful time. Only issue was the height of the bedroom doors, I am 6’3” and the doors might be 5’10”. There should be a sticker by the key fob to remind guests to watch their heads."

"This was a good stop while we were property hunting. Although the room was smaller than we expected, it was clean and comfortable. I loved the sofa! We hoped the restaurant would be open, but must be more for the busy season. We found old town and the architecture was wonderful, then a good walk up to the fortress. If you do nothing else, go to the fortress. They said to allow an hour and half but we were there for almost 3hrs!"

"Good hotel in a lovely location up a hill through olive groves. Great terrace outside the bar with a view of the hills. Good restaurant with a decent choice of meals and wines. The only downside is that while the staff were able to supply a password for the bar wi-fi, they didn't seem to know the password for the wi-fi networks covering the accommodation buildings (and my Spanish wasn't good enough to enquire further)."
