"We enjoyed a long weekend at Sandt Pines. It was a memorable experience! This quaint & cozy lake cabin is the definition of charming. The cabin's layout & decor creates a cozy, inviting, & comfortable atmosphere.The view of the lake from anywhere inside or outside the cabin was stunning. Much time was spent on the deck, dock, and sand chairs enjoying the peace and quiet. We heard loons, saw ducks bathing on the beach next door, and deer on the island. The kids (older teens) enjoyed fishing off the dock, pontoon fishing, swimming, the lillypad, and of course the wi-fi! The cabin has a well-equipped for all of our needs. The kitchen was had everything we needed to prepare meals and a numerous comfy living areas for relaxing. Our favorites were the screened porch, deck, hammock, and of course anywhere inside the cabin. The firepit, beautiful patio table and chairs, and screened porch all add to the cabin's charm.The location is ideal. It's close to Park Rapids, Nevis, and Dorset. We took one day and went exploring-so many places to see and things to do! Lots to explore!The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. Their hospitality was truly appreciated & exceptional.For a peaceful, charming, and authentic Northern Minnesota getaway, look no further! Sandy Pines is highly recommended."

"This is the second time I have stayed at this location. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. My kids love the waffle station in the morning. Theres a cute little coffe shop across the parking lot that is drive or walk thru too! Lots to do and see In Park Rapids and surrounding towns (highly suggest Nevis right up the road). Walmart and Aldi super close too which is very convenient. Would definitely recommend to others and will likely stay there again."

"What a great place to stay! All around great place with all the amenities and more. Outside there were activities provided, such as campfire pit, basketball hoop, kickball bean bags, etc. Inside all the essentials were provided. We will be back again! "

"If you are looking for a nostalgic, comfortable, updated and safe place you need to try the Rustic Inn! We loved the fact we had a little living room area to relax in. When we requested items, they were responded to quickly. The Inn in easily in walking distance to downtown restaurants."

"This was a nice clean property for me and my sons on our deer hunting trip. It was warm and comfortable and plenty of room for our gear. We had a successful hunt the first day so we checked out two days early and went home. Would we have any refund or credit for our next stay?"
