While the friendliness and cleanliness were wonderful…i found it a bit odd that complimentary shampoo/conditioner was not part of the stay…and when my husband went to the desk to ask about it and also to get another pillow, he was told they do not offer any of that…little disappointing, especially for such a large motel name.

N ever got clean towels or trash emptied from room. Ice machine was broken so no ice or coffeemaker in room. Cement on sidewalk is slippery when wet someone fell. Bed was uncomfortable and worn out in the middle.

I didn’t like that the door for room 228 isn’t completely sealed. The nights were cold and I could see and hear people as they walked by through the gap. But the service was good made it to the hotel after work and the room was cleaned well every day.

The room probably didn't get cleaned because there was a take out carton still sitting on the microwave which had roaches in it (Gross). Needless to say we didn't stay long.

Everything looked nice online, they allow pets and price was nice so we booked for 4 nights. The property was well kept and looked nice and not in a bad part of town. Everyone was nice, especially the young girl that checked us in, (I wish I got her name because she was one of the only reasons i almost didnt write this review, i dont write reviews ever.) but when we got in our room it looked dirty. There were stains on the chair, and it just didnt look like what was in the pictures online, when I closed the door I saw that the whole trim and frame of the door looked like it had been kicked in and had not been fixed, you could pull at it and it would definitely pull apart and break. The tv had one channel, we couldnt figure out how to fix it. Then after getting ready for bed my husband pointed out the roach poop and the roaches running around in the nightstand. Regardless we stayed, we already payed for 4 nights, and it was late. The next morning we realized our door stopped working and it would open without a key. So, we had to switch rooms and the room they put us in next had someone elses stuff in it already. Another room switch to upstairs. This room looked nicer and cleaner, i checked for roaches and saw that it was nowhere near what the bottom floor was. finally we felt a little better about staying there. Unfortunately we ended up going back to the front desk several times because our keys stopped working. I will not be going back.

More bugs than I've ever seen in my life cockroaches and bed bugs when I asked for a refund I was denied after I'd always stayed in a different room for 4 days and had no problems with any bugs same hotel

Don’t trust non-smoking rooms to be non-smoking
Definitely NOT a non- smoking room and no other rooms available. The smoke stench was terrible and made my eyes burn and my throat hurt. Curtains don’t even come close to blocking out the safety lights outside - it’s like sleeping with a nightlight. Only 3 small pillows for a king size bed. I wasn’t expecting luxury, but basic hotel standards of a dark room that is non-smoking if that’s what you book. Staff was polite but not friendly. Room was clean enough for what it was. No facial tissue in the dispenser. Would have overlooked literally everything if the room had actually been a non-smoking room. I was physically affected by the fact that it was not.

The rooms were smelly! I ended up paying extra for non-smoking room. The bedding, the furniture, and eventually my clothes stunk. The rooms were poorly maintained. Will NOT stay there again.

I specifically requested a non-smoking room due to my allergies. I was checked into a smoking room which reeked of cigarette smoke. I did go to the front office but was told there were no other rooms available. I would expect that if a non-smoking room is reserved then that is what I should have received . Instead I had to endure a night of severe allergies. Eyes were so itchy they were almost swollen shut by morning, even after taking two Benadryl. On top of that - the people in the room beside us were up all night and loud.
