Bed and Breakfast in Jacksonville

"It was a great stay at a place that was a cut above the usual hotel stay. Breakfast was provided but we only ate there 1 day for we wanted to experience things away from the place. There are many delicious places to eat for breakfast so try it. The location was perfect allowing for walking around whether to MOCA or finding other shops. While we didn’t bring our dog along this time, perhaps we will next time. "

"Great location. Within walking distance to MOCA, and a few restaurants that were open during our stay. The town is post industrial and post manufacturing. Walking around MOCA is a wonderful experience in itself as much of the history of the building and surrounding area comes alive and is fascinating.The exercise room is small. Not crowded. The pool was in use most of the time we were there as the pool is used for children's swimming lessons. We didn't want to use the hot tub with a bunch of kids and parents splashing around. Good staff and very responsive. "

"Can't beat pizza, beer, coffee, and music downstairs, and a cozy room upstairs 10 minutes from Mount Snow "

"The bath soap container was empty. I asked a hotel staff member if she could refill the dispenser and she said she would bring it to my room in a few minutes. She never showed up as promised. I passed her on the way out 45 minutes later. She look at me and went on her business. "

"The hotel is charming. The location is great. The building is funky, given it's age and need for repair. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The theater located in the same building is a one of a kind attraction. It was a plus for us that the hotel is owned and run by a nonprofit."
