"If you're staying in Haast overnight on your trip, this place has everything you want in a small town motel. It's clean, it's comfortable, you can park in front of your unit, and it has surprisingly fast wifi given the location and the warnings in the guest handbook. Suzie, the owner, knows her part of NZ very well and helped plan a great day of local sightseeing on the way out. I would be happy to stay there again."

"This is a wonderful holiday home with a lot of atmosphere. The house is built with love and one can feel that. We spent 2 weeks there and we loved every minute. The owners are super friendly and helpful, they made us feel at home and very welcome. It was always lovely to chat and they helped us with what to do and where to go and how to catch that big trout. The house itself is beautifully built, close to the river, but also close to shops and everything else you need. We loved it so much we're thinking of going again. Thanks for everything."
