"We chose this place because of the high rating it had and the view. It did not disappoint on both counts. It was very tastefully furnished and had everything we needed and more. My wife particularly loved all the proverbs on the walls. We cooked every day and evening and did not need a thing from the kitchen. The view was spectacular and peaceful at the same time. We hardly left the house because it was so cozy. Helen, the host was always there to answer Any question i had on the spot and continually emailed us to make sure all was good. Absolutely wonderful home. We will be back for sure"

"If you love the outdoors, animals, nice deck with amazing views, and a wonderful house - This is the place for you. Having two master suites was perfect. Kids loved everything - bedroom, games, air hockey, fireplace. We’ve stayed in several vacation rentals and this was very clean and didn’t have an overpowering smell of air fresheners. Overall it very much exceeded expectations. It felt very secluded but nestled in a nice nice little community. We couldn’t see any other nearby properties from the property.If I had to nitpick - Small indoor trash can, small coffee cups, no patio furniture on bottom deck, more seating in the living room (they did drop off some extra chairs for us). "

"We booked Matt’s place for our family’s annual get together for four families. The ages ranged from four to seventeen for the grandchildren plus their parents and us, and every single person had a great time!! Matt is an amazing host and provided excellent communication from check-in to checkout. He also provided an extensive list of things to do and visit in and around the area based on our interests and provided everything we needed during our stay!The property is a little slice of heaven, the views are great, the walking trails are enjoyable, the creek is peaceful and relaxing, and the ponds were the biggest hit for everyone. Matt gave a detailed map of his walking trails and my grandkids loved exploring the marked trails to see where they all went. Two of my grandchildren caught their very first fish and the others caught their very first trout. Most averaged about 16-18". The grandkids are already asking when we can go back! The home itself did not disappoint! The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed for to prepare our meals and there was plenty of room for all of us. We will definitely be back!"

"This chalet was absolutely amazing! The unobstructed view out to the yard and garden was great. We had our own personal family of deers every evening. A bear came up and dragged our empty trash can across the driveway and my wife was face to face with it looking out the front door! Game room is fun and the outdoor fireplace set a nice ambiance for dinner at night."
