"Beautifully kept property with a fabulous pool. Right in the middle of the olive growing region about 10 minutes to the local town of Iznajar. Good roads to the property. The hosts live in half of the property and the other half is for guests. There are air con towers provided, generally these would be sufficient, but temperatures reached about 41 degrees while we were there. We would have loved built in air con units, but understand that the cost for this would be high. Pam and Tom were great...

"Beautiful villa, with super pool and stunning views of olive groves and mountains. Host was very friendly and communication was excellent in advance and throughout. Location was great for those looking for somewhere to escape tourist hot spots but there weren’t many local restaurants that were open for us (though we were travelling with a toddler who eats supper at 5pm!!) and Iznajar (the nearest town) was pretty dead though we were there mid July, which was a bit odd. "Set in a beautiful spot overlooking the lake. The village is about 2-3 miles away but don't take the car. The roads just get narrower and narrower and are extremely steep. The hotel has no lift but we were given a room on the ground floor as my husband has problems with stairs. The downside of this was that we were awoken by a table top sale being set up right outside our window by some very noisy Brits. I am surprised that the hotel allowed this immediately outside bedroom windows. Beware...
