"Traveling in Italy, Greece, and Turkey over 3 weeks, this was the second-best hotel I stayed in. It is a modern hotel with an intriguing, cylindrical design with spectacular views of the Aegean. The amenities are excellent and the choice of food was good, although over-priced for what it was. The only negative was the Izmir traffic but the hotel cannot be blamed for that."

"It was an unusuallly warm day (80 degrees Fahrenheit) and there was no A/C in an amazing sealed room with a lot of glass windows. The central cooling only starts in May!. The manager was nice and moved us to a better and cooler room. "

"This is a good hotel very close to the Baseme subway and train station. The water was hot and the bedsheets clean. There is even a pot to make tea in the room, along with a mini-refrigerator. The free buffet breakfast was good as well. Additionally, they do offer excursions to the main tourist sites out of town for a reasonable price. I would easily stay here again for the price offered."
