Tentaciones is a perfect spot to enjoy all that Zihuatanejo has to offer. It is centrally located with easy walkability throughout the city. The hotel itself is stunning, private and quiet, offering a slice of paradise with the cliffside infinity pool. The restaurant itself is a set menu with five courses of excellent food and beautiful views. I highly recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a luxurious stay in Zihuatanejo.

As we drove up we were impressed with the structure. When we walked up to the 2 wooden doors we wondered if we were entering the wrong way. Once we opened the grand doors, we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the view. The entire staff welcomed us and made us feel at home. The room was as incredibly large for 2 and the rose petals on the bed were a romantic gesture. My favorite part was our private pool as the view was breathtaking. The only downside to this property if you have any physical limitations is the steep walk up and down to the street level or to your room. This property is incredibly beautiful, well maintained and customer service friendly. The staff will always call you by name as you enter of leave which makes it more special.

Loved our stay at Tentaciones! It was recommended by a friend, and I am doing same for others. Really like the Adults Only aspect of this property. The service was impeccable, the room we stayed in was beautiful (super clean) and with our own private pool. We enjoyed a delicious 5 course dinner in their outdoor dining area which was VERY romantic. And the morning breakfasts (included in package) were hearty and delicious! Tentaciones is a great place, and we will stay there again!

Welcome home, more than a cliche'
Our 2nd time here. The staff make you feel like family. The property is gorgeous. Perfect location for the views and privacy from the property, but also a short walk to the beach and several fabulous restaurants. The on property restaurant is certainly helmed by the best chef (not cook) in Zihua. 5 courses of WOW.

The staff was amazing. Only having 8 guests they give you the upmost attention at all times for any reason. You never felt like you were just a number. The view was amazing and our room was so unique and comfortable. Will definitely return.

This hotel is in one of the most beautiful settings in the world in our opinion! Drop dead beautiful view of the Zihuatanejo bay...backed with twinkling lights of the city, a painterly set of hills ...back dropped by flaming pink orange sunsets. The hotel, pool and restaurant is really high above the water...over looking large numbers of boats....exquisite and very romantic at night. Interesting minimalist room...with lovely flower welcome. The television turned out to be challenging to work for us. We also were concerned about the lack of a banister on the stairs to our room...somewhat of a safety concern, especially for older people. The restaurant serves a very interesting five course meal...beautifully presented. While the candles at night provide a romantic and rather magical setting, they do not provide enough light to show off the beautifully presented courses. The wait staff and manager were lovely...very oriented to make sure any issue or question was addressed Unfortunately, one night we both somehow ate something at dinner that did not agree with us...and paid for it during the night. That said, we plan to return because of all of the positives we experienced over several different visits.

This is an excellent small boutique hotel located on a hill overlooking La Ropa beach. Staff and amenities were excellent. Included breakfast was superb. Highly recommend.

Beautiful in every way!
Our first trip to Zihua and Tentaciones made it all the more lovely. The room was wonderful -- plenty of space, immaculately clean, everything we needed, including our own private patio area with a stunning view of the bay. The dining and pool areas were always ready for guests, pristine, with fabulous views from every angle. QUIET! High on the hill so away from any road noise. Also high meaning a long walk down to get to the beach, which my old knees could barely handle, so that would be my only caution for anyone who has problems with stairs or steep hills. But the staff was always ready to call us a taxi when needed. It's in an area with several other upper-end hotels and resorts, so dining out is easy, although the restaurant there is great as well. This level of elegance, comfort and service was a joy to come back to every day!

This is a beautiful boutique hotel!!! The infinity pool has amazing views. We spent many hours enjoying it. The poolside food and drink are delicious. We especially enjoyed the gourmet dinner. The staff make this place incredible. Carmen is friendly, attentive, and informative. Tino is always quietly available for the little things that make your stay comfortable. Auri decorating your room with flowers is just one example of how Tentaciones attends to every detail.

Beautiful facility, great view from the pool area. Had dinner there on a first night we arrived... not our favorite food... very heavy... no flavor.. fixed menu so you pretty stuck at what they fed you. But don’t you worry, they have another restaurant right across from their hotel If you can deal with those stairway... AMAZING food. Epuma is the name of the restaurant I believe. We usually eat at Epuma and take a cab back to the hotel since they are on top of the hill and who can walk back after a few drinks and dark at night .... our suggestion to the hotel is you should get a golf cart to take guests from the hotel to the ground and back.

We had a great week at Tentaciones! The hotel staff were amazing and took great care of us. The view from our room and the pool are breathtaking and the food was amazing. We couldn't have had a more relaxing week in Zihuatanejo! We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing, and absolutely beautiful vacation.

Perfect loding in Ziwah
We just returned from a delightful stay at Tentaciones. The property is breathtakingly beautiful, situated on the hillside with a beautiful view of Ziwah bay and beaches. The room was very comfortable, very clean, with a small outdoor seating area where we had breakfast each morning. The staff is exceptional--very friendly and extremely attentive. They were able to accomodate any requests we had with a smile. Leaving the property was like leaving old friends. We will definitely stay at Tentaciones on our next trip to Ziwah.

This small boutique hotel is wonderful! Since there are only 4 guest suites, it felt like staying at the private villa of a wealthy friend where staff is lovingly looking after you! The room,view ,pool deck,restaurant are all incredible . Our bed and bathroom were decorated with bougainvillea with "Happy Anniversary" spelled out in petals on our bed surrounded by a flower heart! We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food and service were outstanding. Right outside our room was our own comfy sitting area by the pool where we sat after dinner with a glass of wine watching the lights of Zihua below us. This place is perfect for a honeymoon or romantic weekend!

We love Tentaciones !!!
This was our 8th trip to Tentaciones over the last 17 years. We've stayed at a variety of resorts in Zih, from the lavish on the beach resorts to a variety of small boutique hotels. Tentaciones set a new high standard. The pictures do a good job in showing off the hotel. The view simply can't be adequately captured by photos- it is spectacular. The location is PERFECT, as we could easily walk both into town and to La Ropa beach. This hotel has 4 rooms, our was the one that is actually under the dining patio. The room is a split level room, with an indoor fountain that's detailed into the floor (came in handy for cooling off hot feet!!!), and a private balcony and an outdoor shower (also private, incredible view!). The room was great! The bed was actually a proper bed (some hotels in Zih put a mattress on a concrete plinth- which has been hard on my back at some locations. The bathroom had twin skins, and a really nice indoor shower which we never used. The food was great - and we're foodies... Breakfast was included in the room rate, but egg dishes were extra. Breakfasts included fresh fruit (3 kinds that varied by day), three fresh pastries... all great... yogurt and muesli and fresh orange juice and Coffee. We had eggs twice, but only because we didn't want to miss them - the standard breakfast we really all we needed. The staff we all really great - thanks all!~ Super nice folks, with some great suggestions as to where to go and what to do.

Carmen was incredible. Her customer service exceeded my expectations. Hotel was beautiful and suites very spacious, clean and beautiful. Only complaint would be that dinner was a set menu and guests could not order a la carte. Staff was excellent and breakfasts were delicious and amazing. We did have the four course meal one night and were very pleased with the food and experience. We will definitely be back.

Not knowing much about Zihuantanejo,we booked the hotel, looking for a high end hotel, close to the beach. The hotel itself did not disappoint us. Its location did. It is situated high on the slopes of the mountain and even though it is 10 minute walk from the beach, it requires going up and down a very steep slope. When it rains, even cars can not drive up to the entrance and one has to walk up the driveway or climb many stairs. This information was not provided prior to booking. Unfortunately, I am partially handicapped and use a cane for assistance. Walking up and down each time we wanted to go for a walk or to go to the beach was very difficult. We had booked a 6 night stay. On our second day we asked a consideration to move to another hotel but the manager was not empathic enough to the situation and refused to release us from the 50% obligation. We did find another hotel that we moved to after the third night. We were greatly disappointed

Perfect Stay, Perfect Hotel
This is a first-class hotel in my opinion. With only 4 rooms, consider yourself lucky to get a booking. The small staff made my stay perfect and the owners were very hospitable. It was very clean with attention to all the details. The dinner I had at their restaurant was impeccable and delicious and the views were breathtaking. I would stay at Tenaciones Hotel again any time I vacation in Zihuatanejo.

The hotel is really a restaurant with a few hotel rooms attached. It is very pretty, but there are MANY stairs and a very steep driveway. The hotel is not on a beach, but is within walking distance of the nicest beach in Zihua. The walk to the beach is down a very steep hill however. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with physical limitations. It also lacks some amenities, such as a lobby, gift shop, hot tub, entertainment. The restaurant is beautiful, with a fabulous view of the harbor. The food is good, not great, and is very pricey for dinner. The breakfast included with the room is healthy continental, granola, fruit and pastries. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the room always clean and comfortable. Overall, I would describe the accommodations as nice but not great. I would not choose this hotel again.

We found our little piece of HEAVEN!
This was an incredible boutique. My husband and I went to Mexico for our honeymoon and the only thing that would have made it better was if we stayed at this location from the beginning. The views, the service, the cleanliness of the entire grounds, the personal touches were better than any place we have ever stayed in our 49 state and 4 country travels. You will LOVE IT! A Wonderful Experience
Although this place is absolutely beautiful and a joy to experience, us Canadians love our coffee and no coffee pot is provided in the room. There also is little furniture, ie. no chairs or bureau. The setting and architecture and staff are second to none!
