This property provides for the perfect getaway to enjoy a quiet and relaxing time in an immaculately maintained, fantastically scenic boutique hotel in a perfect location and with highly attentive staff, and excellent quality dining and food service at the hotel . Will definitely repeat!

Its label as one of the best boutique hotels in the world is well deserved. Catering to couples, the service provided at the 25 room property is impeccable. The on-site restaurant, Mar y Cielo, has the best dinner in the whole town and the views are unmatched in Zihuatanejo. Room: The rooms are spread out amongst 3 buildings and grouped into 4 tiers, with the owner’s penthouse being the sole room in the top tier. We stayed in the second highest tier which include the 10 rooms with private infinity pools. The room experience is so well designed that you literally do not need to ever leave your room or see any other humans if you prefer. Service: The goal is to anticipate and tend to your needs without marring the sense of isolated serenity that the hotel provides. Every single member of the staff excels at this goal. I cannot imagine a single way the service could be improved. Dining: Mar y Cielo has incredible dinner options with seafood specials daily. Dinner is open to the public but reservations not needed outside of high season. The views from the restaurant are second only to the penthouse views. Lunch and breakfast are for guests only but we found better breakfast options in town and seldom ate lunch at all. Shout out to Venus for his incredible service as a waiter. Location: Apart from having impeccable views, it is also within easy walking distance to town and only 100 meters from Playa La Ropa via a private entry

We loved our 4 night stay at this 5 star hotel! We went in early October and unfortunately, we didnt realize that since it's the off season some restaurants don't open up. This did, however, mean that we were one of the only couples at the hotel, which was nice. Playa la Ropa is about a 6 min walk down some steps next to the hotel. There are a few restaurants along the beach there which was great. We also walked about 20 or so minutes into the town area on the North. There's one steep area that we walked everyday but other than that this location is absolutely beautiful. We plan on coming back.

The property itself was much smaller than I expected, but the room was very big! They only have 25 suites so it never feels full, so it's good if you want a quiet space.

The most dreamy place ever
This is truly the most magical property! I will 💯 be coming back. The staff is amazing, the accommodations incrediable, the views jaw dropping….. food and drinks impeccable. Was so sad to leave but will be back very soon.

La Casa Que Canta, paradise found!
I have to admit, I’ve had Zihuatanejo and the La Casa Que Canta on my bucket list for many years. My expectations were not only met, but exceeded in every possible way. The location is perfectly located within easy walking distance of both La Ropa Beach and downtown shopping and nightlife. This resort has the perfect combination of amenities and natural beauty. Unsurpassed views of the ocean and city lights. Our Master pool suite was so perfect, we never felt like we needed to leave as the resorts room service and it’s staff were all so eager to take care of anything we wanted. We’ve spent over thirty years looking for the perfect spot and La Casa Que Canta and Zihuatanejo are now our favorite and we can hardly wait for our next trip to this paradise on earth.

Anniversary Trip
This is a place at the top of my list. Beautiful stunning views. Service beyond compare. Go for one of the private pool suites. It's worth the extra money. A stay here is a true memory.

The attention to detail is Amazing! Since we are from the U.S. they actually have maintenance change the electrical outlets to the 110 style so we don’t need an adapter. The books in the suite were all changed to English language books, The place was spotless. Every bathroom in the facility was super clean. Place is Beautiful! Views Beautiful! By far the Best Property I’ve stayed at in the World! If you want to get away from it all? This is the place to go!!!

Stunning hotel in a quiet cliff face location situated between two very quiet beaches. Visited in low season and it was nearly a private resort. Amazing room with open ocean view and private splash pool. Staff were awesome, very attentive, always cheerful and polite. Very clean resort and tastefully decorated. Special mention to the dining room staff of Irving, Tony, Fredi and the housekeeping team and to Semey at the front desk. Great group of folks, we’ll be back. 😀

I never review places I visit or stay, but I had to leave some comments about my recent stay at La Casa Que Canta. This was one of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying. I was contacted a couple of days before my scheduled arrival and was informed that the neighboring property to the hotel was undergoing a renovation, so the staff offered to move me and my fiancé to their Villa Ensueno on the beachfront to minimize any possible disturbance. This was just the start of the things they did to accommodate us. They also offered to move us to a larger space at the Villa Ensueno once another party vacated. Both spaces were amazingly comfortable and private. We very rarely saw any other guest on our entire visit. The food at the hotel restaurant, Mar y Cielo, showcased local flavors and was always delicious. The staff went above and beyond and I am honored to thank them by name. Thank you to Teresa, Adriana, Ramona, Yesenia, Irving, Isabel, Fredi, Venustuvio, and my main-man Jose Luis. You should all be very proud of what you have created there. Apologies if I didn't get all of your names right or left anybody out. You were all wonderful. Cheers.

Every detail of the hotel is so well done and well thought out. The decor, the ambience, the food, and the service were impeccable. I appreciate that we were told right from the beginning not to tip, that it would be added as 10% in the final bill. When we tried to add additional tip at dinner, the waiter refused it and took it off of the bill.

This hotel is amazing. Very quiet and unique. Service leaves absolutely no complaints. Anything you want or need will be taken care of. The only critique is the transportation offered. It is not super clear that this is only one way (pick-up from the airport). I assumed it was round trip for the price, also a bit my fault for not making sure. All in all we had a great time and will be back. Highly recommend!
