"First impression was the parking lot; it is rough and very uneven. We arrived at dark and there was one other person waiting to check in at the time, but no one was at the desk. She called the hotel several times with no answer and then someone finally came out to help us. I used a 3rd party site to book. The person said we had to out a card on file for incidentals, it was $100 and just a hold not a charge. We checked out before 6am the next day and left. We literally only slept, didn’t use a bath towel or anything. On Monday morning we were charged $100. We called and said we’d be refunded. By. Wednesday we still didn’t see the refund and were told that the person who charged it was not supporting be doing that (happened to others to) and that he was no longer with them. We finally received the refund on Friday, a week after we checked in. We now know why the hotel across the street was full and this one was not. We won’t be back! "

"This place was more than we hoped for by far. We were traveling for the Phoenix BFL and chose this place because of its close proximity to the lake. We messaged Keith and Kathryn to make sure there were electric outlets outside for us to charge batteries etc and about parking as we had 2 boats in tow. They promptly returned answered me with pictures assuring us the place could accommodate us. When we got there we were shocked at how nice this place realy was, they even had some basic food provisions in the fridge for us. We will make sure to book this everytime we come down to this lake in the future. Thank you Keith and Kathryn for your hospitality and kindness. P.s. it was our first time to this lake and we didnt do as good as we wanted to in the tourney, but we had a good time. Maybe God will grace us with a better bounty on the next one. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home over the Christmas holiday. The scenery was incredibly peaceful and made for the perfect family getaway. We especially loved spending time fishing together—it was relaxing and created some great memories for our family.The home itself was well maintained, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. Our kids had an amazing time thanks to the thoughtful amenities provided by the host, which kept them entertained and happy throughout our stay. Even our pets were able to enjoy the space, which made the trip even more special for us.Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we are very grateful to the host for providing such a welcoming and enjoyable place. "The house was super cute. Perfect for our weekend. We appreciated being able to bring our pet. The dock beautiful as was the lake. The surrounding forest was beautiful. The internet worked great. The solar was not a detriment at all. The heater work great as well. The stove worked great. We did have a few "issues" however- I was not aware that we had to bring our own linens, ALL linens, Bed, (there was a comforter) Bath, Kitchen. There were two pillows on the bed and they did not look the cleanest. The refrigerator froze most everything although there was no ice in the freezer. There was no dish soap or bath soap. No paper towels, no Saran wrap or aluminum foil. The stove top was missing half of the grate. There were no bowls? And no sharp knife. Bring your own coffee and filters for the Mr Coffee. We are aware the owner lives very far away however no action was taken to remedy any of the missing supplies. We would probably stay again knowing all of this. It is a beautiful area. "
