"We had a great 12th anniversary weekend in Rome and staying the Mama Shelter Roma hotel, room was massive and spotlessly clean. Staff were lovely and friendly, hotel food was fab with delicious cocktails to top it off! "

"Hive hotel was great for first-time visitors to Rome. We got help from the staff in navigating to various places. The room was clean, comfortable and attractive. Breakfast was included and was among the best buffet breakfasts I've ever had. There were TOO many choices! On our first night there, we had a nice light dinner with wine on the room-top restaurant, making a great start to our trip. "

"The beach area is nice with plenty of loungers and gazebos. They have a bar and restaurant there which serves good seafood. The hotel rooms are a little tired, I would say 4 star not 5 as they have paper cups in the rooms not glasses or cups. The bed was comfortable and the fridge was stocked with juices and water. The bathroom needed a bit of an update missing grout between tiles etc. The staff were very helpful albeit reception not quite so much. There was lots we had to find out for...

"This hotel is very easy to get to using the S4 train. The train platform is a 3 minute walk! You could walk out further about 15 minutes yo find a tram, bus or metro. There were no little stores close to the hotel but you could have a buffet breakfast for 15 euros and dinner started at 7 pm. There is a nice lounge bar and patio, too. As Canadians we found the drink prices high because ofvour exchange. Iverall excellent service from all the staff. They speak english very well, too."

"Excellent location in a nice quiet area, roof top bar was great, if not a touch expensive perhaps, bed was very very comfy, room was slightly on the small side and the shower was a bit hit and miss, but lovely and clean. "

"This is a great choice for the stay in Venice. We only stayed one night but were greeeted warmly and assisted in every detail. Breakfast is excellent and the touch of providing a map with instructions of where to go while we waited for our room was very nice. We stayed in the 5th floor and the elevator only got to the 4th one, a minor inconvenience with the luggage but nothing terrible. The hotel is beautiful!!"
