"The place is beautiful but that’s about it. We didn’t know you needed swim caps to get in pool. Not very friendly about that or anything else. Like a ghost town and average age is 80. Which is fine unless you have children like we do."

"The building & rooms are a little dated. Some maintenance is definitely required. Our room was spacious, but had a badly scratched floor & missing panel on the vanity in the bathroom. The staff were wonderful & always helpful. A nice bonus to have a complimentary bus into town that you booked the night before. No lifts, but the staff helped with our cases so it wasn’t a problem."

A little far to walk to the nearby town so recommend having a car. Parking is on a fairly steep slope which may be challenging for some. Overall an excellent value."

"Our stay at Evia Bay Resorts was nothing short of wonderful. The room was impressively clean and spacious, providing a refreshing and comfortable retreat, including the massive bathroom! Tucked away in a quiet, serene area, the hotel offers the perfect atmosphere for relaxation without being far from local conveniences. One of the highlights was the beautiful beach, just a short stroll away. Whether you want to sunbathe, swim, or enjoy a peaceful morning walk along the shore, it’s an ideal spot. Additionally, there are several great restaurants within walking distance, making dining out simple and enjoyable without needing a car. What truly made the experience stand out, though, was the pleasant and helpful staff. From check-in to departure, every interaction was warm, professional, and genuinely caring — they made sure every detail was just right. I highly recommend Evia Bay Resorts for anyone looking to unwind in a clean, peaceful setting with easy access to local attractions and the sea."

"The property is beautiful. Private yard and pool. Super well-maintained. Amazing view from living area upstairs. Think ahead for food; we arrived on a Sunday in mid-May and all the markets and most of the restaurants were closed. No dining facilities on site and don’t plan on “walking into town”, as it’s about 1.5 km away and it’s a steep uphill on the way back. Communication had challenges. On the eve of my departure for Greece, I received an email with check-in instructions all in Greek requiring you to send a pre-arrival form, all in Greek, when options to do this all by phone might be limited. Due to network problem in the area, could not reach property by phone. Finally, we established contact on FB messenger and the property manager was able to call me back. When she did, she was wonderfully helpful and polite. Overall pleased, property is lovely once you get there, but do realize it’s in the middle of nowhere with a steep walk to and from the beach and town, and communications can be challenging. "
