There is no parking ... You need to search for nearest paid parking for your car. The breakfast was poor. AC was good. Small space for there bids room. There was a refrigerator in each room.

We’ve been a group of 9 people, we took 4 rooms (3,2,2,2) at Tayhan hotel. The rooms are very poor and small and in a bad condition, shower broken, Air conditioner broken, bathroom poor, breakfast not at a good level also old elevator and old building, pictures shown online aren’t fair at all. The location also isn’t the best, the hotel is located at a very trafficking/traffic street which all taxi drivers refuse to deliver or pickup from the location. Also as we discussed the issue with Turkish friends, they have told us that the hotel is located at an area where which is “not safe”. I do not recommend to anyone at all.

Front desk people very rude
Very bad experience, the hotel is near to shopping places and the noise is awful, one cannot sleep at all. Television without remote control, wireless network pretty slow and gets disconnected very often, the Internet at the front desk very expensive for a very short time. The front desk people is rude and they don't help you if you ask a question or they answer in a bad mood.

An average hotel, a short walk
An average hotel, a short walk uphill to the main road and the tram stop near the Grand Bazarre, or you could walk about ten minutes along the street to a main intersection. The breakfast room was not on the roof as pictured on the web page, the roof top was being renovated, also the free wifi service did not work the whole time I was there.

We paid TL25 for this shuttle
We paid TL25 for this shuttle service after being coaxed by the staff. we regret taking this shuttle. i believe each and everybody else on that shuttle felt the same way. The shuttle service dumped our bags and arranged them in such a way that my new bag ( which i bought at grand bazar ) was broken. ( urrrghh) and they actually picked up another 10 to 12 other passengers at OTHER hotels around the busy sultanahmet area and everyone was totally unhappy and nervous coz we only reached the airport around 6 pm ( when most of our flights were at 7 pm!!!). The driver sped like being chased in a movie!! So NEVER EVER TAKE THE SHUTTLE AIRPORT RECOMMENDED BY YOUR HOTEL. Take the taxi for an extra TL5 and you get a personalised and whole car for yourself.

Location is excellent if you want
Location is excellent if you want internet and call shops near hotel. Also many resturants nearby. Walk to beyazid (grand bazaar) is up hill 5 mins and from there you can pretty much get anywhere in Istanbul with trains/metro/buses. Price is good. Rooms are simple, basically you get what you pay for. Staff is friendly in general, cant help much with directions to somewhere.

Even though I booked a double
Even though I booked a double room I have been given a twin room for one night that too in smoking area and managed to give me a double room for rest of the nights. Though I had a bitter time on first day, it was fine for rest of the days. Breakfast is good. Wireless access is available but is slow. Room condition is good and bathroom is average. Location wise, its good, 10 mins walk to sultanahmet area.

Hôtel en perte de qualité.
Hôtel que j'ai déjà journée il y a quelque année, mes rien a changé très vétuste la douche en très mauvaise état qui fuit de partout et surtout beaucoup trop de bruit des portes qui clac très tard la nuit et pour le petit déj c'est la catastrophe des mouches sur les rondelles de saucisson et fromage le beurre qui ne reste pas au frais donc infecte. Dommage car le personnelle est très gentille et serviable.

3 star hotel 'walking' distance to Aksaray/Beyazit
I was greeted by a robot when I arrived. They had to check and verify, and had to wait 15 minutes to get the keys. But this wasn't a problem since the check in time was 15:00 and I arrived there at 13:00. Now the first thing you need to be aware of, is that even though this is a budget hotel, and within a 'walking' distance to Beyazit/Aksaray, you have to walk up a hill for 10-15 minutes. Not exactly comfortable if it's summer season. Another thing is that there are many families who stay in this hotel, especially from Morocco, and since the walls are paper thin, you will not have easy time sleeping. But luckily the people next to me were not noisy.

It was the worst. The room was okay but the bathroom was just dirty and the sink was pumped up and the staff didnt do anything about it.

Wurde vom Hotelpersonal bei der Taxibestellung ,ja man kann sagen Betrogen . Habe im Taxi dann festgestellt, das ich den 3fachen Preis bezahlt habe. Asserdem wurde mir der Stadtplan für 5 Euro verkauft ,an den Verkaufständen kostet er 9 Türk. Lira .

Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis - schöne Lage
Frühstück einfach, aber für den Preis ok. Der größte Plußpunkt: Hier ist man in einem sehr lebendigen und authentischen Viertel von Istanbul und das muß man mögen. Zu Fuß sind Altstadt, Straßenbahn, Fischmarkt Kumkapi schnell zu erreichen.

Super Lage!
Das Hotel befindet sich mitten in der Altstadt von Istanbul. Dementsprechend ist die Gegend am Anfang etwas einschüchternd, da sich fast nur Männer auf den Straßen aufhalten und kaum Frauen. Dennoch lebt man sich hier schnell ein und auch abends kann man sich hier ohne weitere Probleme aufhalten. Um die Ecke befindet sich auch eine Polizeistation. Der Weg zur Hagia Sophia, Blauen Moschee oder zum großen Bazar ist nicht weit, etwa 10-15 Gehminuten. Über einen steilen Hügel gelangt man zur Hauptstraße, wo sich die Straßenbahn befindet und viele Geschäfter sowie Essensmöglichkeiten. Wenn man sich auf einen etwas längeren Spaziergang einlässt, kann man von hier aus auch Galatabrücke, den Galataturm und die/den Istikalstraße/Taksim Platz erreichen. Wenn man das Nachtleben Istanbuls besser kennen lernen möchte, kann man ein Taxi ordern und zur Istikalstraße bzw. zum Galataturm fahren. Der Preis für diese Fahrt variiert abhängig vom Fahrer. Man zahlt zw. 13 und 25 Lira (ca. 4 - 8 €). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück reicht vollkommen aus. Als Raucher kann man die Dachterrasse im 7.Stock (Lift vorhanden) nützen, von der man einen wunderschönen Ausblick hat. Falls man einen leichten Schlaf hat, sei erwähnt, dass sich direkt vor dem Hotel eine Minarette befindet. Auch der Verkehr ist zu hören, was jedoch in ganz Istanbul der Fall ist (Sirenen). Die Zimmerreservierung verlief ohne Probleme und wir zahlten genau den Preis, der von Expedia.at berechnet wurde.

Für eine Kurztrip gut geeignet aber keine Bonbons erwarte
War geschäftlich dort, für Touristen ist die Lage gut, da ca 1-2 km zur historischen Altstadt und zum Grand Bazar. Für Geschäftsleute gut, da die Geschäftsviertel in der Altstadt zum Teil zu Fuß erreichbar ist, ins Bankenviertel Maslak/Levent kommt man mit dem Taxi hin. Ca. 30-40 TL. Ansonsten darf man nicht viel erwarten. Für einen Kurztrip gut geeignet, wer länger in Istanbul bleiben will, sollte sich nach einem anderen Hotel umsehen, mit 4 Sternen! Gruß

El hotel Tayham esta localizado
El hotel Tayham esta localizado a unos 15 minutos a pie de la Blue Mosque, pero la zona deja mucho que desear. La calle sobre la cual esta ubicado no es conocida por ningún taxista y causa sensación de no ser tan segura. La estación de transporte publico mas cercana se encuentra a unas diez o mas cuadras del hotel a través de una zona muy transitada durante el dia pero no tanto durante la noche.

Nettes Hotel in zentraler Lage
Nettes Hotel in zentraler Lage und sehr bemühten Angestellten. In 5 Minuten am Marmarameer und in 8 Minuten bei der Tramhaltestelle Beyazit. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder wählen.
