Location definitely the key, all the main sights in walking distance. Very good breakfast, roof top balcony looked very good(was pouring rain when we were there) Nice staff, nice little balcony with view in room. Building and rooms are very old, small bathroom and room. No elevator, steep spiral staircase could be a problem for some. Definitely worth the US$105 we paid.

Just like many old properties the hotel could use a little love, that being said I thought the band for our buck was great. Our rooms and linens were clean, the rooftop was a great getaway with shade, sun , views, whatever you wanted. The location was so perfect for walking around, the staff helped with everything we needed. Witness some upset Travellers because the road was blocked off and they had to carry their luggage the length of the building-- it is not the hotels fault that vehicles randomly decide to park in the middle of the roads-- just saying. Would stay again.

Rooms were clean and efficient. Easy walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia as well as the must see cistern system! Several must do Turkish Bath and massage locations in easy walking distance as well as many outstanding rooftop dining options.

Loved this hotel. Close to major attractions such as the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, bazaar, Basilica Cistern and close to great restaurants. Staff very helpful in arranging tours, cruises and airport transfers. The view from the rooftop terrace is to die for. We paid a little extra to have a sea view from our own balcony. Well worth it. This will be our go to hotel whenever we're in Istanbul.

The balcony was nice but it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. They did give us slippers. The location was great. If it was 60-75USD it would have been worth it, but it is far too expensive for what you get.
