Excellent location, 12 mins walk from the Grand Bazaar and within 15 mins drive to Hagia Sofia. I enjoyed using the lap pool & Sauna. Breakfast was included and the staff very helpful. I arrived early in the morning (6am) but they checked me in anyway.

Nice friendly staff. The cleanliness of the hotel shows they care about their guests. Got lucky enough to have a view of a nearby mosque. Beautiful view at night when it was lit up!!

I recently stayed at Lions Royal Hotel with my family and had a very enjoyable experience. A special thank you to all the staff, from the reception team to the cleaners and everyone else who worked hard to make our stay comfortable. Everyone was friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Special recognition and thanks to Aisha in the restaurant/canteen. She was particularly lovely, friendly and attentive, and her excellent service made our breakfast experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast was good, with a nice selection of food, and one of the highlights was enjoying it with the beautiful rooftop view of the city. The swimming pool was also very nice and the children enjoyed it. My only small suggestion for improvement would be to make the pool water a little warmer, as it was quite cold. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would like to thank the entire Lions Royal Hotel team for their hospitality. We would definitely recommend the hotel and would happily stay again when visiting Istanbul. Thank you, Lions Royal Hotel!

This hotel was the best option, and I highly recommend it. From the moment I arrived until the last moment, I felt welcome. The breakfast was really good. I traveled by myself, and I felt at home. Thank you, staff members, for making my visit to Turkey so memorable on my Birthday. Also, it's close to restaurants and historic places. Again, it was my pleasure to visit this beautiful country; you made it a wonderful experience.

Everything was excellent! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options, and I especially enjoyed the live cooking station, which made the experience even better. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel close to tram. Great breakfast with lots of variety and great view. Would have liked better coffee for breakfast ( Nespresso machine is terrible) but they had Turkish tea. Very easy access to sultanahmet and galata via tram. Would stay here again if i come back to istanbul

Amazing kind staff. Felt welcome from the first second. The hotel is fairly new and very clean. It is located close to airport bus transfers, metro station and tram station. For the price, I doubt there's a better alternative in the area. The breakfast is also quite large for the price and the view is amazing. We stayed a whole week, which was fine, but it is perfect for shorter stays. Shout out to our hostess, who made us feel welcomed and appreciated.

Really loved the hotel, especially the breakfast in the morning! The pool and sauna was great, really quiet in the evening so me and my husband could enjoy it! Staff were very helpful as we requested to move rooms and they accommodated :)

Excellent conscientious staff. They take their business to heart. Very well maintained property. They went out of their way to see all clients were happy. Great breakfast as well. Rooms were a little small and the sheets would benefit from being cotton, but all said, I will return there on my next stay to Istanbul.

​Un hôtel très bien situé, à proximité du tram et de nombreux sites accessibles à pied tels que la Mosquée bleue, le Grand Bazar ou le palais Topkapi. Le petit déjeuner avec une vue sur la mer de Marmara et une partie de la ville est copieux et varié. ​Petit bémol sur notre chambre qui était vraiment petite : nous avons eu du mal à circuler avec nos deux valises cabine ouvertes (chambre 507). ​Je recommande malgré tout cet hôtel, le personnel est parfait !

Das Hotel ist offensichtlich neu renoviert und sehr sauber. Die Betten sind sehr gut. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich und lecker, die Aussicht wunderbar. Besonders auffallend ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Uns bleiben besonders Aisha und Sakir in Erinnerung, die immer hilfsbereit waren. Die Zimmer sind klein, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen, und haben keine tolle Aussicht - wen das stört, der sucht besser woanders. Wer ein modernes, sauberes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal mitten in Sultanahmet sucht, wird sicher nicht enttäuscht! Wir kommen wieder!
