Very quirky themed hotel. 5 minute walk from Blue Mosque. Breakfast a sight to behold. It just kept coming until the table was full - and then they took your egg order!!!! Would highly recommend. Staff all very helpful.

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Poem!!! We stayed last month and had an amazing experience - Eren (the receptionist) was such a joy to be around and made us feel right at home every day. The Turkish breakfast was delightful, with new and different items every morning. Location is unbeatable, just steps away from Hagia Sophia/Blue Mosque/Basilica Cistern. Hagia Sophia also has a tram stop, so it made getting to the rest of the city also very easy. 10/10 recommend!

Perfect place to stay

Wonderful stay at Hotel Poem. Great location. Really nice room, comfortable bed and, most importantly, very clean. Staff was as nice and friendly as can be. Awesome location close to the mosques, and the grand bazaar. Super friendly staff, the highlight being the massive Turkish breakfast. Only small downside was that our room was too small for two ppl, with no place for two large suitcases.

We had a great experience staying at the hotel Poem. All the tourist attractions in Sultanahmet are easily accessible by walking. We couldn't appreciate enough the exceptional service and hospitality from Eren, everytime we run into him, he was welcoming and with a genuine interest in us being satisfied, and we loved his "British" accent!! Gökhan was very helpful with our check-in and he was very attentive with us getting settled. Arif, our waiter at breakfast was always with a great attitude and ready to help us. Overall we had a wonderful experience in Istanbul thanks to all the Hotel Poem staff!

Gem of a hotel

What a beautiful boutique hotel, full of character and charm and right in the heart of the action with some of the major sights in Istanbul only 5 minutes walk away including Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and the palace. Even though you are so central there was zero noise in the hotel, we had a phenomenal sleep! We were fortunate enough to stay in the Ernest Hemingway room and so also had outdoor space with a beautiful view! The stars of the show are the staff, so so helpful and friendly and believe me when I say we had some weird questions but they were generous and humorous with their responses. We feel so safe and we’ll looked after I wouldn’t hesitate to go back, in fact it’s the only place we would consider staying now and you won’t regret it if you go either. Ps Can’t believe I almost forgot to mention the breakfast spread, it’s was plentiful, varied and most importantly tasty!
