"Massively impacted by rain floods which made main road leading to and fro the lodge near to impossible to navigate on or over. Rivulets and erosion break offs. "We really loved this location. It was our third time in Masai Mara so I can compare to Keekorok and Royal Maison. Royal Maison was nice, but this property is more level and the tents are closer to the reception and each other, yet still quite private. "Lorian is a cosy small camp with very good staff. Food was good and location excellent...close to the air strip and fairly close to possible sightings. The Lorian team made the trip memorable with their superb and always helpful attitude. Will go back on next trip and happy to recommend."

Sentrim Mara Game Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"We had a fabulous stay at Sentrim Mara. Some of the other reviews did concern me before booking but I found this place to be good value for money. Also, the lodge was so spacious! The staff are wonderful, Geoffrey was friendly and attentive at the restaurant, chef Nicholas was helpful with my lactose intolerance and there were many other wonderful staff too. For my birthday the staff bought me a cake while doing native Maasai singing and dancing, it was a very memorable experience. Thank you to all the staff. Only thing that would have made it better is a heater in the room but I’m sure if we’d asked one would have been provided. We’d definitely recommend."

"Amazing safari camp! We loved every second of our stay. Special location with access to Maasai Mara but located on conservancy with elephants and giraffes surrounding area. Maasai guards escort you to camp always felt safe and cared for. The staff is amazing. Many are Maasai and are passionate about sharing their culture and knowledge with you. Took walking safari with Nixon - learned so much. Abraham was our safari guide - incredible person with amazing gift to find animals. Saw everything - including rhinos and leopards!!! We will never forget this trip and can’t wait to come back. Food was excellent - Lynette and Regina gave caring service. Recommend highly and hope to return soon! Ansante Entumoto ❤️. "

"Facilities were fantastic, with hot water and flushing toilets. The only negative were the day staff who did not seem very friendly. I put this down to us getting off on the wrong foot, so was glad we were only staying here for two nights. The guy from our previous day -Safari drive was waiting for us at check out -with the day staff- ( all men ) stating we owed him an extra 10 Dollars, but we showed him the exchange rate and offered him the correct amount of one dollar- which he refused. Thus leaving a negative feeling about our whole experience.- Which was a shame as the place is a nice place and the night staff seemed very friendly. No- one even said goodbye to us-in what felt like a very Male unfriendly environment. We were unfortunately very glad to leave here."
