"Love the position for exploring. Excellent food. Check in and friendliness of the guy on the bar was very poor. Property in serious need of some TLC!"

The Bellachroy
10/10 Excellent
"Highly recommended! A warm welcome and presentation of the location and our room. Helpful with our bags. Nicely decorated, design and colours. Flowers lovely too. Food was delicious and many great GF safe options. Guest areas (lounge and entrance) were large and inviting."
Park Lodge Hotel
8/10 Good
"We had a good night sleep! A nice corner room m, tidy and quiet. Breakfast time was too busy with a noisy tourist group messing around. Staff did their best to sort them out. Good parking and location high above town so be a steady walker if you want to walk down the hill."
Mingarry Park

Beautiful Old Croft House in the Isle of Skye with great sea views
10/10 Excellent
"The Old Croft House was a delight. Beautifully clean in stunning surroundings, this lovely house has everything you need for a wonderful holiday. We saw seals, deer, eagles, otters and made friends with the cows in the neighbouring field. The road in from Armadale is twisty and care is needed. The Armadale Store is well stocked and Armadale Castle, Cafe and Gardens are a lovely place to spend an afternoon. The Aird of Sleat is remote but not isolated - there are plenty of neighbouring cottages- but do allow for extra travel time to drive to other places on the island- narrow roads with passing places, as well as sheep and cows on the road, do slow you down. The beach at the Point of Sleat is stunning, and well worth the walk there. Travelling back to the mainland on the ferry to Mallaig is straightforward and be sure not to miss the Hogwarts Express travelling over the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Our week in the Old Croft House was unforgettable. Thank you to the hosts for sharing their wonderful cottage."
