Lovely sea view from our first floor room. Swimming pool in the hotel. Downside - terrace outside directly below bedroom window thus be prepared for unwanted noise until early hours. Also squeaky floorboards and stairs inside. Room was stiflingly hot. We only stayed one sleepless night. Manager wouldn’t refund the second prepaid night.

Great Hotel

This is my favourite hotel on Arran. It was good to be back after a year and a half. The staff make your holiday they are friendly,helpful and nothing is a bother. The hotel is as safe as it can be during covid. They have thought of everything to make u feel safe.It also has a swimming pool and sauna. They do a good breakfast and they serve dinner at night and the food is really good. They have a bar and a large lounge area where u can relax with a drink or a coffee. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is located in Blackwaterfoot which has a good bus service if u don't have a car. There is a very good parking area if u do.It also has three shops one of which is a take away. There is also a golf course nearby which has a cafe. Near the hotel u can see the seals. There is a good seating area around the beach to eat your lunch. If your thinking of going to Arran this is a great hotel to come to.

Great hotel for a relaxing time and to enjoy the beauty of the island. Hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was a bit some but adequate for a 2 night stay, with a nice view

Blackwaterfoot Arran

Very nice hotel. Warm, comfortable, great location and views. Could see seals basking on the rocks from the room. Staff really helpful and friendly. Welcome oasis after being soaked in the Scottish liquid sunshine.

Great Hotel

My stay here is always good. The staff are always helpful nothing is a bother if you need anything. There is a bar,restaurant and a communal sitting area if you like swimming there is a pool and also a sauna. There are three shops in the area and if you play golf there is the golf course up from the hotel.

Worth a stay

I enjoy staying here and I'm a regular visitor and very well looked after. The food is really good but I'm vegetarian. I wish there was a choice of veggie sausage for breakfast. I also wish you did a veggie pasta for dinner im sure I'm not the only vegetarian. It is a really good hotel worth booking a stay.

Excellent hotel all round. Could be 4 star plus. Accommodation spacious and clean. All staff friendly and food good especially breakfast buffet which was all freshly cooked and hot. Can’t wait to return.

Great holiday in a very comfortable hotel.

We had a thoroughly good time in this hotel and on the Isle of Arran - our first visit there. Our only negatives from the hotel were that the meals, although excellent, were too large portions and we would have preferred a smaller option., and the wifi did not work consistently. These are minor points and did not detract from the excellent service we received. Our room was fabulous with a great view across the bay to Kintyre,
