World class fishing on the Henrys Fork River. Boating, kayaking, canoeing available on either Island Park Reservoir, or Henrys Lake. Great sightseeing trips to Mesa Falls, or Harriman State Park. 2 minutes from Henrys Fork, 10 minutes from Island Park Reservoir, 26 minutes to Henrys Lake. Great location to jump off from for your Yellowstone Trip.

Beautiful comfortable cabin

The cabin was perfect for a large group. We loved the porch and the space inside the home. Upstairs was a bit warm but overall it was perfect for our group.

Idaho Vacation

Had a wonderful time in Island Park. The Shooting Star Lodge worked out pretty good for our family of 9 and the property manager did a great job. We had a few small issues with the house but all and all it was the perfect vacation.

Yard was overgrown and needed cleaned up. Dryer seemed to run very hot. Everything else was nice.

Really comfortable and convenient to Yellowstone.

The home was very comfortable and great for our purposes. We spent our days in Yellowstone then came home, cooked dinner and played games. Comfortable for all 7 of us, enough beds, chairs at the table and spots in the living room! The decor is mountain/country and warm. Importantly the kitchen had everything we needed. The location is right off of highway 20. The neighbors are really close but we didn’t see them. The instructions for the trash could be more detailed. Over all a comfy and convenient stay.

Perfect mountain retreat

What a great cabin we found for our family to enjoy. This was a sentimental trip for us, and having the right home base made the it relaxing, easy and fun. The cabin is in wonderful shape, has been cared for and loved meticulously and just felt welcoming. It was perfect. Highly recommended.

Better than expected

Our first time staying in a Vrbo cabin. Shooting star exceeded our expectations. From pictures online wasn’t sure how big cabin actually was but our group of 15 people fit perfectly comfortably. Spent evenings on front porch enjoying weather and very few bugs. Had great vacation. And a few unexpected updates to cabin since pictures taken made things even more convenient!!!

Great cabin
