Enjoy a relaxing stay in the woods while sill having the convenience of restaurants and gas stations close by.

Our cabin is fully furnished and ready for you to enjoy your vacation. The living and dining area have a wood burning fireplace and all of the amenities of home - the kitchen is fully stocked. You will receive a complete list of amenities upon rental confirmation.

The master bedroom has a king size bed. The other two rooms also have king size beds as well as bunk beds. The couch in the living room is a queen hide-away-bed. All linens are provided for your stay. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a jetted tub.

Our cabin has a great covered front porch on which you can sit and enjoy the scenery and perhaps catch an animal or two wandering through the yard.

Cell phones work well at the cabin. Stay connected with our free WIFI . Use our FireTV to log into your own Netflix account for movie watching enjoyment. The WII gaming system will provide entertainment for all ages.

Our cabin is open year around and is conveniently located in a central location. Enjoy some of the area’s best activities within minutes from leaving our cabin. Yellowstone National Park is about 30 minutes away. Enjoy fishing and kayaking within a 5 minute walk on Henry’s Fork of the Snake River. Take in the majestic beauty of Mesa Falls or visit Johnny Sacks Cabin and Big Springs just a few minutes down Highway 20. Float trips, horseback riding, ziplines and golf are available in the area. Take the time to hike in Harriman State Park and enjoy nature’s wonders. Snowmobile or ATV ride right from our door, there are miles of elaborate trail systems. This cabin is suitable for
snowmobiling, ATV riding, boating, fishing, hiking or sightseeing.

During the winter, the driveway is plowed and there is plenty of parking for your toy hauler. Island Park is notorious for its snowmobiling and offers something for every riding level.

Our cabin is a NON-SMOKING and a PET FREE cabin. We are under county ordinances for short term rentals and ask that our guests please stay in compliance for their safety and health; we ask that you stay within capacity limits, read the burn ordinance and be neighborly!

Mice issue
When we first arrived it was late but we noticed a lot of stains on the carpet, dirty dishes in cupboards and broken blinds. We had planned to make the best of it until we woke up the next morning and started noticing mice dropppings everywhere even in our bags!! We then found mice poison and traps under the sinks, and that they had gotten into the food we left in the kitchen. We immediately contacted the host who said yeah they get in once in a awhile. As this was a health and safety issue that the host seemed to think could be rectified by sending out cleaners we had no choice but to vacate. As we were preparing to leave we found towels in the dryer that his cleaners were supposed to take care of from the prior visit, indicating that the place had never been cleaned for our arrival. We asked the host for a refund of the remaining 3 days of our rental which was refused even though we were willing to pay for the night we stayed. We now have a case open with vrbo.

Lovely Mountain Retreat

Good: Beds were comfortable. Bad: Additional charge for leaving any trash in cabin when checking out. Serious Mice infestation. Mouse droppings throughout cabin. In closets laundry room kitchen counter. Had to throw away food. Mice seens running acoss floor in two of bedrooms.

Great Yellowstone Visit
We stayed at the cabin with our 6 kids, it was a great retreat from our adventures and there was plenty of space for everyone. Everything was clean, in good condition, and as described. Steve was very quick to respond to all communications. I would highly recommend this cabin and we would definitely book again.

The stay was fun. It was a good location for our trip to Yellowstone. The beds were very comfortable and the place was cozy. The kids had a good time as well. Cons: The kitchen pans are old and could use some updating. Having to wash our towels before we could leave was very time consuming as you use towels to get ready and had to wait a long time before we headed out. Won't pick a place that has us do laundry next time.

Excellent house!!
We were traveling with friends and so we had two families staying here. The house was so nice, clean and comfortable. I was really pleased that both bathrooms are accessible to everyone and neither is through a bedroom. That was helpful for us. We loved the location as we were coming to and from Yellowstone. The owner was very quick to answer my questions before we arrived and we had no issues during our stay. The rooms were great for accommodating all of us. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Plenty of space for our family of 10. Necessary items were available ie: cooking/dining/bath supplies. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but be aware that for $150 cleaning fee, you are still expected to wash towels you've used.

The cottage is functional however the number of available beds maybe exaggerated. This didn’t affect our stay as there were only two couples occupying only two of the three rooms. The master bedroom went unoccupied as there appeared to be a creature (mice? Chipmunk?) nesting on the bed evidenced by a collection of seeds and bedding chewed through. When brought to the notice of the owner, it was rectified, thank you. There were few other shortcomings that were noted, none were more than a nuisance impact. Overall, the stay was pleasant and the owners accommodating. Thanks!
