Other Things to Note:
What to bring with you!- You're coming to a wilderness area to vacation and if you plan your vacation well you will have a positive experience. In the summertime May and through the middle of June can tend to be cooler early morning and toward the evening hours. Make sure to bring a jacket and long pants you can change into when needed. Bring a pair of tie up shoes to protect your feet. Shoes likes flip flops or sandals will not protect your feet when you are out exploring. Layering your clothing is a good idea and then if your too warm you can take off clothing as needed. At least this way when departing your cabin early morning to go site seeing you will have what you need with you. July and August are pretty warm and you should still bring a light jacket. The rest of the year you will want to bring heavier jackets and long underwear, snow suits etc. You will need to bring your private toiletries like bar soap and shampoo as we do not provide this for you. Cabins are equipped with everything else you should need except food of course. Snow tires and four-wheel-drive are recommended for traveling in Eastern Idaho during the winter. Road conditions can change quickly, and even well-traveled highways are occasionally closed by blizzards or high winds. Before setting out, check the Transportation Department's website or call 511 for an automated, up-to-the-minute status of all thoroughfares. Wise motorists will also carry emergency gear (shovel, snack bars, water, blankets) in their vehicles to be ready for any contingency. Coming Snowmobiling? A reminder to anyone traveling back country areas whether skiing, snowmobiling or hiking: Remember the time of year, exercising all back country cautions. Take necessary equipment and survival gear when venturing into the back country. If you have a GPS and cell phone, be sure to take them with you, but do not rely on them entirely for a safe rescue if you find yourself in trouble or stranded. Cell phones should be kept close to your body & turned off to keep the battery full, so it's not searching for a signal & running the battery down. Avalanche Transceivers and equipment, knowing what the avalanche conditions are, and knowing skills to save lives are a must for everyone entering back country riding or traveling. Plan ahead. Make sure you know the area you are going into before heading into it. If you find yourself in trouble, stop, take a look around you, and do not go any further. The further you go the more complicated and dangerous it is to get yourself to safety, also making rescue efforts more difficult and dangerous. Make mental notes in relation to any physical features or landmarks that would assist in your rescue. Make a plan, stick to your plan, narrow the riding area, & most of all...let someone know WHERE you are planning to go!

We loved the location of the cabin! We ice fished at lakeside lodge and rented ski doos from the lodge. We rode to have lunch at Meadow creek lodge. So fun!
The house had everything we expected. However only 1 TV in the entire house and it’s upstairs.
Overall great place! Recommend!
Overall nice property. The house has a beautiful wrap around porch but no outdoor furniture not even a chair. We had 13 people and would have loved to use this porch area since it was hot out during our stay but nothing to sit on.
We were aware of the no air conditioning but a couple of the windows didn't have screens and some windows didn't open at all. They had 3 box fans but only two worked. So it got kind of warm upstairs for sleeping.
Overall it was a good place for a large group. Thank you.
Loved this great cabin! It was excellent for a large group and very comfortable. We loved how it is on Bill's Island and set back off the road a bit. Would do it again!
Beautiful property in a beautiful setting. Plenty of room for everyone and all the amenities we needed. Had a snowstorm but fireplace nice and cozy and lots of games to just hang out and enjoy the winter wonderland from inside. Would definitely come stay here again.
The house was just as seen on the site. Great kitchen which was well supplied for all your cooking needs. Comfortable beds in the bedrooms although the sofa sleepers were not so much. The property manager was very responsive to any issues that arose.
Probably the biggest and most isolated cabin we've stayed at in Island Park. Hot tub could be bigger to accomodate the people the cabin can hold but it was still great. Very isolated and could hardly see any neighbors. Well stocked. Had an issue with water being frozen in the garage apartment but their management team helped us out. Will be returning, thanks
We absolutely loved this rental! It fit our group of 12 perfectly. We drove into West Yellowstone each day and it was an easy, beautiful drive. Highly recommend this rental - we will definitely be back!
We just stayed here with our 2 sons & their families.. a total of 12 people. The age range of the children was 5-13… it was perfect!!
The accommodations were amazing & so comfortable for a large group. It only took about 45 minutes to get to Yellowstone. The days that we did not go to Yellowstone we relaxed & played at nearby Lake Lodge.
This is the 3rd house we have stated together as a family & we all decided it was the best so far!
This is a cabin we've stayed in many times. The accommodations are wonderful and worked great for our group. The lighting and decorations could be updated. Many lights need to be changed out and the old decor needs to be cleaned/dusted. Good cabin for a group.

loved the cabin but it was not cleaned very well the floors where not mopped very well. highchair had food in it and in the window seal by where it was. Called and the cleaners came but did not mop very well and the highchair still had food in it...
The prosperity is very nice and well kept. A short drive from the park (relative to the area that is). No cell service once you enter the island was the only downside but not something the property owner has control over.
Great location. Quiet and secluded. 30 minutes to West Yellowstone entrance.
The cabin was very well stocked and had all the amenities of home. The hot tub on the back deck was a great way to end the day. There is plenty of space for a large group to enjoy.
We stayed at this property as part of our trip to Yellowstone and absolutely loved it. It’s a little bit of a drive to Yellowstone, 40 minutes or so, but the location on the island is so picturesque and a unique experience.
There were 3 families total and there were plenty of rooms, seats for dining, and rooms to space out and relax in. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and bakeware. We loved the small apartment above the garage with its own kitchen. It helped to have another refrigerator with that many families. Everything was fully stocked except the laundry detergent, so we had to replenish that. I’m sure if we had notified the owner early on it wouldn’t have been a problem but we didn’t notice until a day before we left.
The apartment had its own instructions for closing down that we didn’t see until the morning of departure, so that’s something to pay attention to. The main house said to pile the used sheets and towels, but the apartment said to wash the linens before you leave.
Overall, we were happy we stayed at this cabin!
