"We loved our short stay here, food was fabulous both at the bar as well as the restaurant. Best creme brûlée I’ve had in awhile! As always, the rooms are wonderful and I would recommend anyone to stay here en route to the airport after a long drive from the east. We hope to return!"

Highly recommend taking the short trip over to Pokeno butcher and making the most of the coal barbecue provided."

The hotel serves good pub food. It is located in the centre of a small, rather down-at-heel town near the Bombay Hills, south of Auckland."
