Islander Resort

10/10 Excellent

"This resort was absolutely amazing and exceeded all of my expectations. We originally booked just one night on our way to Key West, but after experiencing everything the property had to offer, we wished we had stayed much longer. If we have the opportunity to make this trip again, we would choose to stay here for our entire vacation and simply take a day trip or two to Key West. The resort offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, with beautiful surroundings, excellent amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere. Our only regret is that we didn't spend more time here. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and we would not hesitate to return or recommend it to others looking for the perfect Florida Keys getaway. The extra special touch was the gift for our anniversary. Breakfast."

Hadley Resort and Marina

"Good hotel with plenty of parking. Our room was refurbished with really nice furnishings. Sofa bed was uncomfortable with no duvet, only a sheet and one pillow. Pool area and beach area was lovely and there was ample undercover seating area. Only downside is there is no restaurant on site and so you have to go offsite to eat. Bar closes at 8pm. There is a restaurant just up the road, serving excellent food."

Amara Cay Resort

"Although this is priced at a high end resort, there is nothing high end about it. Needs a lot of updating. Our room was very much in need of some deep cleaning and updating. We stayed on the 5th floor which smelled of pot the whole stay. Housekeeping was ok but very inconsistent. There is absolutely no beach to go swimming and the water was littered very badly. This is a $150 a night room all day! NOT $450! We took the shuttle a couple times as we were there for a wedding and the driver was not friendly at all. We did have a wonderful bartender inside tho! All in all.. A good trip because it was for a wedding just wouldn’t recommend Amara for the price point. Stay at the other sister resort down the road. Cheaper and more to offer!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The hotel amenities were excellent and really added to the overall experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others."
