"hotel smell very bad every where shower leak Terrible bad quality breakfast but that only way to sleep at aiport for conection ... and they know so that why they charge a lot for low quality service and maintenance ... Terrible hotel ..."

"The room was outdated to the MAX. The TV was one of the first “flat TV” model, it was a 24”, with wonderful lines across it which made the effects superb (sarcasm). The fridge was to die for as in I wish there was one. The bed frame was a California king with a full size bed which was 6” away from the bed. The night stands were mixed matched and neither matched the bed. The pool water was green and not the pretty green more like it had enough algae to walk on. However, for the price and a very short stay it wasn’t terrible because the location made up for it, it’s ok if you are not going to spend time in the room."

"Worst travel experience of my life. Plumbing broke on the trip 2 days in and no one was available to speak to. No one on site and no response via phone or social media. Had to spend more money on another accommodation for the rest of the trip. Still have yet to hear from this place and Expedia tried to reach out. Would absolutely not recommend this place please save yourselves from it. I can’t express how truly awful this place was and hope they will eventually reach out. They had no record or check in and have not even heard from them post original check out time. We had not heard from them for check in info and boarded flight without knowing if we’d have access to the property. We finally got someone on the phone at midnight on our check in day and they said they had never fully checked in someone before. Very unorganized. Avoid at all costs."

"This is our fourth year straight staying at the Hotel. Its like being at home. Wouldn't stay anywhere else when I am vista Puerto Rico. We enjoy seeing the same employees year after year like Abraham. It makes the stay so much nicer."

"The property is very well maintained and clean. It’s a shame that there was so much noise coming from the adjacent rooms that made it impossible for me to sleep. I had to call the front desk three times to complain. Security did try to intervene, There should be clear and strict rules regarding loud noises at night."
Fairmont El San Juan Hotel

"I love the beauty of this place. Wonderful restaurants, pool, beach. Great for photos. Pool closes at 9. That isn’t listed anywhere. Not terrible just an FYI: 100 per night resort fee is not included in the price. We went to the rain forest which is really cool but I don’t recommend it if you are not in awesome shape or over 50. Watched a lady carried out on a stretcher with an IV. I hike often. This water slide hike has higher difficulty: roots, mud, slippery rock climbing. Very rustic and zero safety measures. Old San Juan is great. Recommend a hat, water and sunscreen. You’ll be tired after a full day."
