"The lady at the front desk, Julie, was world class. We stayed in the suite and enjoyed the roof top porch and hammock. It is difficult to get good pancakes in Central America but they were perfect each morning. I had them all three days we were there. I will return."

"This is an absolutely beautiful property. The room is clean, comfortable and our kitchenette was more than well equipped for our needs. The onsite restaurant offered a good variety of choices and everything we ate there was delicious! The dive boat picked us up right from the pier and we also snorkeled right in front and saw some rays! This is more isolated than the in town places but way more beautiful and tranquil if that’s what you’re looking for. Huge bonus is that all the water is safe to drink at this spot unlike other places on the island. As far as the hosts go- I can not rave enough about them. I had several questions before our trip and they were always answered promptly and informatively. My husband had an unfortunate accident in town during our stay (nothing to do with La Hacienda in any way). Liann was a true angel helping us to make alternate plans and arrangements so we could get him back to the States. I can not recommend this place enough if you are looking for a nice, peaceful and comfortable place to stay."

"The view was incredible every morning looking at the ocean from a private beach was amazing. Even at night the moonlight illuminated the ocean while a sea breeze blew in from the sea. Very quiet very secluded and private. Will come back again. The attendant was amazing and responsive. Also offered to rent golf carts to travel around the island. This place was exactly what we wanted and more!!"

"I went to Utila looking for a respite. I was looking for no noise or hustle and plain ole isolation from the world. It has been a hard year on me. I just wanted time with only my family. What I got was so much more! I came home feeling so rejuvenated and energized! Our short trip turned out being medicine for my soul. Coconut House is an excellent place to spend quality time with family. Spend your time snorkeling, kayaking, and discovering the reef right off of your very own dock or stargazing from the second story deck at night. We even saw the shadow of Pico Bonito one morning. You can challenge your friends and family to several board games or work on a puzzle. And it is never a waste to spend hours at a time lazing and reading or even napping on of a the extra roomy loungers on the screened-in porch as you listen to the waves and feel the soft Caribbean breeze. Groceries, prepared meals, and freshly caught fish and seafood delivery to your dock are only a phone call away. We asked for lobster one day and it was exceptional!Trish and her team are absolutely wonderful! They take excellent care of you! When we checked out, we felt we had made a wonderful friend in Trish. She met us off of our boat ride in and walked us through everything and makes sure you have all the comforts of home in case you forget something. Overall I say a !If what you liked what you just read then this is the place for you! We are so happy we chose Coconut House and we can’t wait to return!"

"This property was amazing! The pictures were accurate and it was the best place we’ve stayed on the island. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. I would rent this house again and if you are considering staying here you won’t be disappointed."

"We had a great stay here. Perfect sized space, good a/c when needed, sheltered breeze by the ocean to beat the heat, close to town - having a scooter made it easier. Comfy bed, ice and water ready for us on arrival and as needed. Our host Blanca, was excellent to communicate with, very responsive and met us at the Ferry and arranged our departure as well. Very well run all around, would stay again. Thank you."

"Beautiful property in the most beautiful area of the island. Coral Ridge House has been impeccably designed inside and out with great detail. Fully stocked kitchen, bottled water, purified ice, comfortable beds and bedding. Plush towels. Great snorkeling and scuba diving right outside the backyard.Walking distance to everything you need. Two great places to eat very near and everything else within .5 - 1.5 miles.You are greeted at the ferry by the host manager with all logistics arranged. A very inexpensive tuk tuk ride over the bridge and you’re at your home away from home. If you’re lucky enough to meet the hosts and you’re a dog lover, you won’t want to leave! Utila is fabulous little island with great people, great food and a great vibe. It is a divers paradise but you don’t need to be a diver to enjoy. Be sure to rent a golf cart or quad and explore the island. You can also walk everywhere. If you’re open to it you’ll meet people and likely make friends.We most definitely will be back! Casa Colorada Is Located On Its Own Little Island

"Location was ideal - great snorkelling from the front door, but climbing in and out of the water is not for folks with limited athletic abilities & walking out in the shallow water requires person to be sure-footed. Outdoor seating did not provide the comfort we generally look for, and found this to be a tad lacking. Possibly, being over 50, played a role in our seating needs.Happy we stayed, enjoyed the Cays, very welcoming experience, all our needs were met by the services available. "
