I loved the tiny cabin and plan to try and stay there next year. The host was very helpful about any questions that I had. I had a great time and just thought every was great.

The walkway was weak--I had a stroke so sagging walkway was difficult to walk on and railing was somewhat loose as well. Wish they would say that all bedrooms are located upstairs. The ceiling fan was on when we got there, some how I got under but my husband was lucky not to lose an eye. I would suggest removing that fan, before someone seriously gets hurt. Also, queen size bed mattress has major sag in it. Disappointed.

Short Hiling Retreat

Great place to stay!

Cute and comfortable cabin in a great location for skiing Powderhorn. So nice that they let you bring dogs. Plenary of room and great accommodations. Also, nice restaurant/bar next door.

Quiet and peaceful

Jerry was a wonderful host. Very nice and attentive. The place was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a mid week get away. We took our dogs to the recomended dog park and they enjoyed a nice long run.Thank you Jerry.

Fun in the UP

This clean, cozy cabin in the UP is near a bunch of waterfalls, trails, and an hour drive to the Porcupine Mts. The restaurant is 100 yards away and had very good food. Our dog loved being there too!

Warm & cozy Tiny House, well equipped !

Great quiet location by park & woods. A yummy restaurant nearby. Only a few faults : the front door knob falls off, some non functioning upstairs lights. But we would book again.

The location of this property was in fact close to all the sights we wanted. We were only 15 minutes from most activities we were interested in. I wish the place was a little cleaner than it was. The door handle fell off of the screen door when I went to secure it closed. There was no place to sit outside for a fire and the barbeque wasn't hooked up to propane. The washing machine and dryer was a definite bonus especially with our four granddaughters. Overall, it suited its purpose, kept us dry and gave us a place to sleep.

Cute cozy cabin, but needs some repairs.

Cute cabin, good location for skiing and exploring waterfalls. Driveway was well plowed. Radiant flooring was very warm, especially in the bathroom. Pretty small, so if you are a larger person you may not be comfortable. Stairs are very steep and had a few nails exposed (my daughter tore her sock on one). Cabin could use a deep cleaning - there were cobwebs in the master bedroom and refrigerator hasn't been cleaned in a while. Dining table top is not affixed properly, and very unstable when eating or playing games. One of the dining chairs has a nail exposed and I sat on it, ouch! Light not working over the sink, so difficult to see washing dishes. Overall, it was fine for what we needed but does need a cleaning and some repairs.

Nice place but had some issues

The owner called us asked us if we could make beds, the house keeper hhad to leave unexpectedly. Upon arriving the house was a complete mess, food reminants all over, dog hair inches thick all over floor, furnture and the beds. Contacted owner and sent picks. The owner was very apologetic and tried everything to get someone to clean cabin but it was so bad he needed to hire a company. The owner refunded our money in a timely matter and offered to put us up in a motel for a night. At least he stood by knowing things were not rightand teied to make it right. That didnt help our dilemma of now not having a olace to stay 4 hours from home. We did recieve payment back and last we talked to owner he was sending a check for the vbro charges as well, hope he follows through as VBRO was not willing to help us one bit. VBRO customer service is terrible and would not help us find a replacment stay location.

As Written

The "Tiny Cabin" was as listed online. There is just enough of each essential item for a small group/family. If you plan to ski, there is plenty of room in the laundry room for drying all your ski gear. The necessary usable spaces were very clean (smelled like pinesol upon arrival), though there were cobwebs in high places and there needs to be a deep clean under couches, beds, etc. The couch will not sleep an adult (broken spring), though we did sleep a child on it who was snoring (and whose siblings refused to allow him back upstairs). The ability to have a pet at the cabin was top notch... No questions even asked. For people who have a well behaved dog, this is paramount. The cabin is steps from the Big Powderhorn village, where you can easily walk your dog with no risk of traffic. Communication with Jerry was easy. He responds quickly! Also, he was so helpful because I left my pillow at the cabin and he helped to get it back! No need to bring toilet paper or dish washing supplies like most other properties... It's stocked!! Ultimately, we were so happy with the location and price. A modest little cabin for a family who didn't need anything fancy - just enough to keep us rested, fed, and near the hill. We would definitely go back.
