"Overall it was okay, we’ve stayed here for years but it has changed owners and with that different management. Staff takes all the upfront parking including the manager. Parking in the handicap striped space that’s suppose to allow cars with handicap tags the ability to open their doors fully or use a wheelchair ramp. When I confronted her with it she saw no problem with her continuing to park there. She was very rude during most of our interactions while we stayed there. Not sure we will ever go back. Very disappointing. "

"Just a darling house from top to bottom. Tina was great at communicating and left little snacks on the kitchen counter. Nice toiletries provided. Beds very comfortable. It’s an old house and they’ve leaned into that charm, mixing modern with antique. The dining table is a little small and pretty rickety, but it was just 4 of us staying there and for only 1 night. Could imagine it might be challenging with 8 people staying there (enough comfy beds for 8!). That’s the only downside I could think of, and it’s a nitpicky one at that. We walked to a Mexican restaurant for dinner and a cute little coffee shop for breakfast. Great place to stay if visiting all the state parks in the area (we went to St. Joe to kayak, and then elephant rocks, Johnson shut-ins, and Taum Sauk. Sad we only had one night there! "

"Room was clean. Bed was comfy. Water was hot and the AC was cold.... Only 2 things that were keeping it from 5 stars. 1. The towels and wash clothes were old, gray and rough instead of white and soft. And the breakfast. The dining area is super small and the food options are seriously limited. Waffle iron, kids cereal, and gravy with a limited assortment of stale baked goods. That being said, I will be staying anytime I'm in the area. Staff was super friendly. "

"Ironton Bungalow is a great lottle place to stay if you are ever in the area. Very clean and well kept. Great communication from the host. The location is perfectly situated to walk around the square and visit shops or a head into a restaurant for a bite to eat. Quiet location for us is key and this was it. Friendly neighbors too. Highly recommend!"

"We really enjoyed this cabin! It was very clean and super quiet. We loved listening to the frogs in the evening. The cabin is near lots of things to do and serves as a great home base. The check in and out process was easy and Katie responded quickly to all messages I sent. I would recommend this cabin!"
