Stayed two nights and me and the fiance couldn't have been happier. Plenty of things to do in a small area, with just as many good places to eat. Everything was spot on at the cabin. A previous night guest did bust the top of the bottom side hot plate but we wanted to eat out as much as we could do it didn't effect our stay.
Cabin was beautiful and immaculate. Mornings on the balcony listening to the birds was amazing. Gorgeous location. Remote, but town was a short 5 min drive. Exactly what we were looking for. Would absolutely recommend!
We used this cabin as a central location for a week of exploring the local state parks. It was a great cabin with all the necessary amenities the beds are incredibly comfortable and we were able to comfortably fit our group of four. Do note that it can feel a bit crowded especially if you have a lot of bags. However we were more than happy staying here!
Lovely cabin. Decorated simply and welcoming. Upper loft was loved by our 15 year old. Plenty of room for three of us. Seating was perfect on front porch and around the fire pit- chairs were in perfect, new condition. The kitchen was very clean. Refrigerator was clean and empty. Keurig k-cup and drip coffee pot.
Our stay at this modern frame cabin in Ironton, MO, was nothing short of fantastic! The cabin was immaculately clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to bathroom necessities and cozy living space comforts. While the location was a bit tricky to get to, it was well worth it for the peaceful setting and easy access to Elephant Rocks and Johnson Shut-Ins State Park. The outdoor space was just as impressive as the interior, with stunning views, a cozy seating area, and a spacious front yard perfect for relaxing. We loved gathering around the fire pit, enjoying meals at the picnic table, and making use of the BBQ grill. Whether you’re looking for adventure or just a quiet escape, this cabin is a perfect getaway. Highly recommend!
Cozy!! Loved the deck, loft bedroom, kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom was roomy, fire pit area was great, very clean and so cutely decorated. Host responded promptly with any questions we had. Great place to unwind and be still and star gaze. Close to 3 great state parks we visited. And a Casey's close by for any last minute needs! So peaceful. Pet friendly too. Highly Recommend!
Super cozy and aesthetic place! It was really private and secluded and checking in and out was really easy. I loved the fairy lights and all the star themed details! The host was kind and very helpful/answered all of our questions really quickly. Everything was clean too and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking. As an introvert I loved this place lol, no one could see us at all and it felt super private even when sitting on the deck and outside. We also loved the pullout couch and used it for most of our stay when watching movies or using our laptops (WiFi was super high speed!) it’s also surprisingly really roomy feeling on the inside and it was perfect for two people, the shower was really nice and there was plenty of hot water. Highly recommended!
This was an amazing experience. The cabin was very clean, cozy and comfortable. The view from the balcony and fire pit was wonderful and very calming. We did some wandering around the woods on the property in search of wildlife, and we were not disappointed! During our 2 night stay, we saw plenty of squirrels, chipmunks, birds, lizards, snakes, box turtles and even a deer! The property owner was wonderful and stayed on top of communication with us when we got our car stuck in the gravel road/drive a few times. He even was ready to get someone out there to help us if we were unable to get ourselves out. The drive up to the cabin is easy to navigate. Make sure you bring a car that has AWD/4WD and can handle gravel well.Overall, I have no complaints and nothing but glowing praise for Iron Mountain Cabins. I would certainly be interested in staying with them again.
