"This place is isolated, charming and very quiet. The room and bathroom are huge with high ceilings. The bed is a bit small for two and the TV minuscule. The breakfast however is a huge plus."

You will be in the middle of a huge property, but will get precise directions to reach the place. The close by town offers several good restaurants and the very interesting St. Patrick College. "What a terrific stay at the Coach House. The grounds are beautiful, the room spacious and comfortable, and the host is completely charming. I wish we had booked a few more nights there. It's just far enough out of the city to be quiet and tranquil. Breakfast was delicious and filling and I must admit they had the best eggs we had on the trip. I don't know how Des made it happen but a herd of cows were our wake up 'call'. It doesn't get any better than that."

"The lodge is quiet!!! Our room was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable and the view of the lake from our room and the lounge was wonderful. Many thanks to our hosts, Connie and Donal, who were amazing. Breakfast was the perfect start to exploring the area. We spent time on the Aran Islands and in the fishing mecca of Oughterard. Donal and Connie know the area well and offered spot on advice and insights. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Connie and Donal!!!"
