"Inn of the Governors is clearly iconic for a reason. Unfortunately, for me, that doesn’t excuse paying a fairly decent price for an okay room. There were many positives including the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, they were wonderful. The bed was very comfortable, parking was fabulous, shower water pressure was nice, the fireplace was super cute and kept us warm all night, and soo many places within walking distance. However, I just couldn’t shake the feeling of “that’s it?” when I walked into the room. Overall, a great stay and I would recommend staying here."

"Front Desk (male dude) needs to be more professional! Making people checking in feel like a big inconvenience is not the way to go! The place is awesome but the turn away from making recommendations to others as well as an awesome review is because of that front desk employee behavior. "

"We've always loved Drury's breakfasts & Kick Back service. The hotel was very nice and the staff were always helpful. It would've been nice to enjoy the rooftop bar area, but apparently it doesn't open until May (we were there the end of March). The restaurant in the hotel is also very nice with great food options that we would've also liked to have had access to for lunches, but they are closed until 5pm everyday. "
