"Beautiful room and lobby. Friendly staff. Plenty of space in parking lot. Short walk to downtown. Easy access to Killarney National Park and Ring of Kerry. Would definitely stay again. "
"The best staff of all the Ireland hotels (I've stayed in a different place every day for over a week so far). Ger went above and beyond. Hard to find people like him, and Amy and Deborah at the desk were great too (not just very pretty faces! ;) ). I got woken up in the middle of the night by the guest next door or it would have been an excellent stay. I only paid 2e to park in the lot next door, so not a big deal"
"The hotel was conveniently located in the center of town. The view from our room was fantastic, it looked across the main road and into the park. We enjoyed walking to everything. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in town, but the hotel restaurant and bar service is excellent as well. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the dining room. The staff were very kind and helpful. We had an early morning train, and the chef prepared a delicious “to go” bag which was just wonderful! We would love to go back again, and we would highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family!"
"we stayed 4 nights, picked up some groceries. We walked to the grocery store (Dunn's). Great location, its right in town, so you can walk to everything. Lot of different restaurants (pubs, Asian, Italian, ice cream) we went to Paddy Sheehan's to listen to some live local irish music. The apartment was nice/clean/we requested a mountain view which was very nice. The appliances our very different than the USA - once we figured it out it was ok. they did give a booklet with some directions. The lady at the front desk was very nice and very helpful. We went to show called Gaelic Roots at the Killarney Ave Hotel. It was great. We loved the Killarney area. we did RIng of Kerry, Dingle Pennisula, The National park and we were supposed to do the Skelling Islands but it was canceled due to high winds. There is alot to do in that area and the natural beauty is nice. The town is really fun too. Plan to stay for several nights to really enjoy the area"
"A beautiful hotel in idyllic location. Really superb restaurant as well. The staff were amazingly helpful and we generally just really enjoyed our stay. (Admittedly charging our electric car was 3-4x the price of charging elsewhere. So I would recommend not charging here but everything else was great). It’s also very important you make a reservation for breakfast (it clearly states this on the info card in your room; I’m just highlighting here in case people don’t read that). I’d recommend this hotel! "
