The staff was lovely and responsive. There were issues with room cleanliness when I arrived (personal items from a previous guest in the bedding). The elevator was under repair for the first couple of days of my trip. The location is very central and the breakfast and refreshments available in the lobby were appreciated. I enjoyed my stay much more once the room was cleaned properly and the elevator was functional. Note: Soundproofing is minimal and noise from other guests and staff can be disruptive.

Staff is awesome!!! They are very nice and helpful. Hotel is close to everything and safe. Room is very clean and they provided toiletries which is great! The only thing I hope that will be better is the pressure of the water in the shower. Aside from that, everything is great and wonderful. Definitely staying here again if we’re going back to Lyon. Thank you Carlton Hotel in Lyon!

The rooms are enormous and the service from all staff was really a 5/5. Free spa amenities wet and dry saunas, hot tub, pool with nice robes and slippers provided with the room. There are only 22 rooms so they get to know each guest very quickly. Great stay and would highly recommend.

Great hotel, very well decorated and spacious.

This is a very charming hotel. We enjoyed our stay. The Massena train stop was a short walk from the hotel, making it convenient to hop on the metro to get to Old Lyon in 10-15 minutes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of dining options nearby. We would stay here again.
