Rich in Adirondack history and timeless character, this stunning Victorian-style waterfront home offers breathtaking sunsets, 220 feet of shoreline, private beaches, and direct access to the year-round outdoor adventures that make the Adirondacks one of New York’s premier vacation destinations.
Perfectly positioned between Old Forge and Eagle Bay and located just steps from the center of Inlet, The Highland Lodge combines historic Adirondack charm with modern comforts, making it ideal for family vacations, group getaways, and seasonal retreats throughout the year.
Originally built with classic Adirondack craftsmanship, the home retains much of its historic character, including original wainscot paneling throughout the interior. Outside, guests enjoy exceptional waterfront amenities including a private dock, two private beach areas, a spacious lawn, picnic table, fire pit, and propane grill. The property's 220 feet of shoreline provide ample space for swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and enjoying life on Fourth Lake and the Fulton Chain of Lakes.
The Highland Lodge is also exceptionally well located for year-round recreation. Snowmobile Trail #5 is directly accessible nearby, making the property an outstanding destination for winter snowmobile vacations. Fall brings spectacular Adirondack foliage and crisp mountain air, while winter transforms the region into one of the Northeast’s premier snowmobile destinations.
Known as the Snowmobiling Capital of the East, the Old Forge and Inlet area offers more than 500 miles of groomed snowmobile trails connecting visitors throughout the Adirondacks. Guests can also enjoy skiing at McCauley Mountain, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and ice fishing throughout the winter season.
