The property was just as advertised. It had everything we needed for our stay. It's in a nice neighborhood and we were very comfortable walking our dog at any time of the day.

Nice Stay in Indianola

Nice place, everything was as advertised. We had 7 adults and slept very comfortably - easily could’ve slept a few more. Driveway had room for 3 (maybe 4?) cars, which was nice. Some appliances were old and there was somewhat limited seating for a large group in living area. Overall good place and I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Nice and quiet.

The house was well stocked and very clean. Everything was easy to use; tv, dishwasher etc. The beds were awesome comfy. Plenty of hot water for showers. Friendly neighbors. Easy access to the house. I had problems using the Vrbo app, so staying in touch with the host was hit and miss for a day or so. Don’t know if the hacking of Microsoft or others had anything to do with that. If not, Vrbo needs to fix the app messaging.

Quick Weekend away

The house was just as stated. I had read the other reviews and agree. The host were quick to answer any questions. The house was as advertised and was clean. The upstairs was warm, and the AC wasn't helping much. The yard was very overgrown but it was mowed while we were there. However, we had no notice of this, just had people there when we got up. The "patio" area was still very overgrown. House worked for a place to spend a weekend away as a landing pad between activities and was in a good neighborhood.

This is our 4th stay at the property. It's just as advertised and perfect for our needs. The neighborhood is very quiet and perfect for walking our dog. This time we extended our stay by one day at the start. I messaged the host and he made the process very easy.

We had a very nice stay. The home was quaint and comfortable. It is in a residential area, but close to the business areas of town. The house was clean. The bed rooms were good sized. I saw that another reviewer commented that the appliances were older - that is correct, but they worked perfectly and are in great condition. My adult children LOVED the downstairs - walls shag carpeted half way up and a corded phone. Dining room area was a bit small, but we were in the area for a wedding, so this did not affect our stay. The communication with the host was good. We would gladly stay here again if we had a need to be in the area again.

We needed a place to home base while family gathered for my father’s funeral. The property was well stocked with supplies like soap, TP, paper towels, Kleenex, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent and coffee. Beds were comfy. We will stay again if the need arises.

July Stay

The house was nice. The only complaint I have was it was sparingly furnished. It would have been nice to have a chest of drawers or something in the bedrooms to put our clothes away. Very few hangers in the closets even. A chair or two in the living room would have helped. The couch is very large and very deep not great for height challenged people. Otherwise the house was nice and comfortable.

Downstairs bathroom door didn't shut or lock. Looks like door jam inside bathroom needs repair. Upstairs is warm - AC doesn't cool upstairs adequately

Confusing

Overall, our stay was uneventful. Never saw owners, sure they saw us through video cameras. Someone has put money into the house. New roof, remodeled bathrooms, good tv, beds mostly comfortable. Couch from Goodwill(?), never seen one like it. If you are short, good luck. No chairs except 4 in kitchen/dining area, one upstairs in bedroom. Main floor toilet good but always flushed twice.Appliances old but functional, (don’t know about stove, never used it, however Montgomery Ward ended business in 2000, refrigerator (Maytag) delivered in 98 but was cold.)First impressions are critical in any environment. This was where the owners failed. Lawn overgrown, weeds growing unchecked on paver patio, some 3 feet tall, too bad, would have been cool to sit on. Overall impression? Neglected, not just for the week, more like two or three. Weeds,much longer . Random trees, and weeds growing everywhere. Front of home very overgrown, broken bird bath in back yard. All outside lights were burned out, an outlet in house did not work, 4 dinner plates with extra paper, most cabinets empty. Some pots/pans. Silverware good and plentiful. Good coffeemaker, never used it. To me, the whole situation made no sense. The house itself looked good but sparsely furnished, yard was a disaster. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but if you have a big family and want to use the yard look elsewhere.
