Staff was friendly. Place was clean. Our bathroom door was broke. You had to lift it up to open or close it. The top hinge was broken. There was not a good variety for breakfast. Area around hotel was ok. The power was out so not much we could do.

We are in town for a sports tournament and had an unexpected family emergency. We had to leave immediately. The front desk person said he would speak to the manager about a partial or full refund since we hadn't used the room that day, and left it in very good condition. I have tried to reach the property without success, Really hoping to get at least a partial refund. Will update my review if it happens.

When we arrived the room was very warm due to the air not being on. It took quite a while for it to cool down. We went to the pool for a swim and the water was freezing! Not just cold, but felt like it was filled with ice water. We lasted less than 20 minutes before everyone was too cold and shivering to stay. We went back to the room for showers and had the opposite issue. The water was scalding hot and we could not get it to cool down. After 5-10 minutes I went to the front desk and they had to reset the water heater. Cool water ended up finally being available in our room about 10-15 minutes after that but it was a definite inconvenience. The rest of the stay was overall okay. Nothing fancy and the hotel is outdated, but for a weekend full of ball tournaments it did the job.

There was no hot water when I showered at night. It didn't appear the room was fully vacuumed because there was a bottle cap near the HVAC unit. Walls and floors were dirty in the common areas as well.

The staff were super friendly and nice. The reception employee from the night staff at was nice and accommodating. The morning staff provided warm good mornings and were extra helpful. Not so good interaction while checking out...the young lady in management ATTEMPTED to reprimand me in regards to a deposit receipt.

Bed and room were comfortable. Signs of age and wear of carpet, elevator, doors and lobby were obvious. We also were not able to get an extra blanket and I was intially charged twice for our stay. I am still waiting for this credit to appear on my account. Why does this happen?
