"The only problem I had was that I could not get the TV working. There were 2 Remote controls and each had the name of the Cable company on it. I was able to get the sound but there was no picture. There were no directions anywhere. I checked the desk where the the TV was placed. There was a plastic-covered 3 page with the Recyclable, Refundable and Garbage listings. The first page had been cut off and a section of the second page was torn. The first page, on the bottom left, showed a small piece that had 3 letters on each of 3 lines. I think that was information. The TV information might have changed but instead of replacing it, it was removed and nothing replaced it. I left a note for the owner and placed it on the counter of the office with the key on top of it. there was nobody in the office when I left. B."

Auberge Gisele's Inn

"Check in was easy and we were happy to get a room right away. The cleaning staff was very helpful and did a good job on daily cleaning. Location was good for a resting point to do day trips throughout the Cabot Trail. The room was ok, however the mattress was too hard for my preference, making it hard for me to have a restful sleep, it may work for other guests but not for me. Furniture and carpet have seen better days and amenities were not at par of description on the booking, such as internet very slow, cable not available in rooms ( they said the cable company was working on it and was down; however the lobby had cable but none in rooms) and there no microwaves in the rooms but in common areas. Also note the rooms are not in the main building but you have to go outside to get to the main building and get water, coffee or tea available 24/7 and free of charge. When we left we saw people doing maintenance so hopefully for the summer season it has better amenities and improvements."

"Clean room, hot tub was on deck. Super relaxing night. Close walk to main lodge for dinner and breakfast. Sauna was really wuick to heat up and had me sweating bullets. Beautiful views in a great location just off the main Cabot Trail road. Highly recommended. Will return"

"An incredible property and an amazing host. Great view from second floor oceanside room. Breakfast was delicious with so many options. Host made suggestion to visit White Point, which was truly speculative. Highly recommend the Castle Rock Country Inn. 😊 "

"We had a wonderful two-night stay. It was rustic and very homey. It had all of the conveniences of home. The location was amazing. We were able to explore the Cabot Trail and come back "home" to relax. "

Tan Chalet at Cabot Shores Wilderness Resort

"The cabin was dirty; light switches grimey, dirt on walls, cob webs on stair case, hot tub was very dirty (we kept scooping out brown foam) and our arms and legs were covered in brown scum when we got out. I went upstairs to shower and there very little water coming out of the shower then the water stopped completely. There was no water coming out of the bathroom sink.The beds were very uncomfortable-I looked under the mattress and the wooden support rail was broken.I’m not at all a picky person-im easy to please but this cabin was not at all like what was advertised. I have no idea how the reviews are so good for this place! I messaged the owner about my concerns and I’ve heard nothing back from him. I paid over 1,200 for two nights at this place!-I wish I could have uploaded my video on VRBO-Spend your money elsewhere."

"This place was so incredible to stay at! This is exactily as its advertised !!! So so wonderful. We only got to stay one night but we will be coming back with the family next year! Increditble front desk lady with such good info about the area! The chickens were a cute touch too! LOVE this place. Went for a oak tub soak and boy! What a treat! Could fit two people very easiely !!! Very very gorgeous area clean bathrooms and shower. Everything was just fantastic! "
