The beautifully furnished house is ideal for a stress-free family holiday. Refresh yourself in the pool in the hot summer months or relax in the hot tub in front of the house. The terrace is also a wonderful place to relax in the shade. There is a barbecue in the garden where you can prepare your favourite specialities.



You are very close to the marvellous town of Imotski with its diverse offer and special attraction. The Red and Blue Lakes are spectacular and the Vrljika River is also worth exploring. Explore the unique landscape, the inspiration for countless folk tales. Rocks, caves or sinkholes are never just that, but in the imagination of the locals they are home to fairies, angels or cursed rulers. Immerse yourself in the mythology and poetic power of these legends about harsh nature. Or head to the nearby pebble beaches of Makarska, from where you can jump into the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea.

  • Blue Lake * (Croatian: Modro jezero or Plavo jezero) is a karst lake located near Imotski in southern Croatia. Like the nearby Red Lake, it lies in a deep sinkhole possibly formed by the collapse of an enormous underground cave. The total depth from the upper rim is around 220 meters, while water depth varies with season. In spring, when the snow from surrounding mountains melts, it can reach 90 m, and in 1914 it reached 114 m, overflowing the southern rim. The lake is a popular destination for hiking and sight-seeing. Maximum dimensions of the lake are around 800×500 m, but they significantly vary due to big changes in the water level. At the end of the summer the lake may completely disappear. In 1907 a road was built descending to the lake. Heerlijk verblijf gehad, warm ontvangst met aanbod van drankje van het huis, rondleiding gehad, app contact gedurende vakantie was heel prettig, was er iets dan was 1 appje genoeg. De eigenaren hebben zelfs 1 dag gezorgd voor een heerlijk diner, welke wij met onze vrienden in het huis hebben opgegeten.Bedden lagen fijn, huis was heel schoon, in de nacht werd het zwembad gereinigd.In de nabije omgeving helaas niet echt veel toerisme alsin “terrasstraat”, je moet zeker 40min minimaal rijden om bij zee te komen, voor ons een bewuste keuze dit keer wat meer het binnenland op te zoeken.We hebben mooie uitstapjes naar Bosnië gemaakt, daar zaten we met de auto 10 min van de grens. De mensen in het dorp zijn tijdens de wandeling warm, in de avond kwam de buurman naar ons toe, we mochten verse vijgen plukken, met de boodschap dat we dit gerust vaker mochten doen, want er was genoeg aldus buurman. Je merkt de achterstand van toerimse te opzichte van bijv omgeving Istrië, de mensen maken je het het hof!!Heer erg bedankt.
