  • Blue Lake * (Croatian: Modro jezero or Plavo jezero) is a karst lake located near Imotski in southern Croatia. Like the nearby Red Lake, it lies in a deep sinkhole possibly formed by the collapse of an enormous underground cave. The total depth from the upper rim is around 220 meters, while water depth varies with season. In spring, when the snow from surrounding mountains melts, it can reach 90 m, and in 1914 it reached 114 m, overflowing the southern rim. The lake is a popular destination for hiking and sight-seeing. Maximum dimensions of the lake are around 800×500 m, but they significantly vary due to big changes in the water level. At the end of the summer the lake may completely disappear. In 1907 a road was built descending to the lake. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich auf Kroatisch empfangen. Leider war das auch die einzige Sprache die sie verstanden.Aber mit Übersetzung und Gliedmaßen war es am Ende auch kein Problem.Man befindet sich in einer Ländlichen Gegend,daher ist mir Geräuschen von Tieren zu rechnen.Das Haus bietet alles was man braucht um einen wunderschönen Urlaub zu verbringen. Die Fahrzeit zum Meer ist nicht so lange als man Glaubt.Aber das mit dem Parken am Strand und in der Stadt stimmt .Man zahlt sogar für die Duschen am Strand.(wenn man eine Findet).Essen ca.30 Euro pro Kopf.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und können diese Villa (Ferienhaus wäre untertrieben) nur weiterempfehlen. Es mangelte an nichts: das komplette Haus war perfekt eingerichtet und auf gehobenen Standart! Küche komplett und sauber,Badezimmer sehr hochwertig verarbeitet mit genügend Stauraum.Der Pool war perfekt und zu jeder Zeit sauber (zweimal wöchentlich Poolreinigung). Der Whirlpool wird sicher auch seine Vorteile haben,wurde von uns aber wegen der hohen Temperaturen fast nicht genutzt. Das Haus ist ruhig mit einem Ausblick auf die Berge. Der Vermieter war trotz später Anreise sehr freundlich und hat alles bereitwillig gezeigt und erklärt. Er war zu jedem Zeitpunkt erreichbar und hat bei allen Fragen weitergeholfen.Supermärkte und Innenstadt von Imotski sind in 10 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Strand ca 45 min Fahrtzeit.

Magnifique villa au calme

Nous n'avons jamais vu une location de vacances aussi bien équipée. La vaisselle, les ustensiles de cuisine, les appareils électroménagers sont de grande qualité. L'acceuil est chaleureux et attentionné, nous avons passé 15 jours formidables entre les visites, les soirées sur la terrasse et le calme au bord de la piscine. Nous donnerons l'adresse a nos amis et nous reviendrons c'est certain.
