"After finding out that the hotel is not 3 miles (as announced) but 45 minutes away from Redondela we arrived at 5:00 PM and we whatsapp the number on the window. The woman was rude saying that she called us which is not true, I have an international number and there were no instructions in the hotel-com web page. She said that she shouldn't be waiting for us. "The hotel is bread and butter. What you see is what you get… and I love it! We arrived early and the receptionist let us go to the room as it was ready, which is always a great touch. The room was the right size — no frills, just what we needed. The location was perfect: a mere 10-minute walk to the port/sea. The staff were kind and efficient, and there was also free coffee, tea and water."
