"The house is even better than the description! We were 8 adults (aged 18-60). It was spotlessly clean, very spacious, beautiful swimming pool, nice garden, loads of kitchen and cooking equipment.The BBQ and covered eating area were perfect in the heat.The hosts were lovely with great communication.Shops, restaurants and bike hire are 5 mins bike ride or 20 mins walk away. We only used the car once during the week to get to the far end of the island, everything else was by bike.Super holiday "

"The gite is in a fabulous location 4 mins walk from the beachHowever I would not recommend this property as the shower blocked every time it was used and the sink in the bathroom was disgusting! ..rusty, with the surface peeling,and no plug!.The kitchen sink was painted and looked very unhygienic...again no plug!The place smelt damp and it needs some TLC to bring it up to scratch. "

"We had a wonderful holiday in Rivedoux-Plage together with the extended family, and the house and property was perfect for all of us. The children played in the pool the whole week, and we all enjoyed the beautiful outdoor area for relaxation and social dinners. The clean and nice beaches close by were also very popular. And not to forget the wonderful local oysters! I will highly recommend this property, and hope to come back one day."

"We had a great stay at the villa. It is brand new and very high quality. The villa itself is very large with lots of room in the kitchen and living area. The outdoor area is great. A large pool with great outdoor seating areas (including a BBQ) as well as a petanque area and basketball area! The villa is very close to the beaches (only a short walk) and maybe a 5-10 minute drive to Les Portes-en-Re. "Our second stay at this villa was nice and relaxing. We fell into island-life pretty quickly and enjoyed the pool during the hot summer days. Nothing on the island is too far away and both the town, beaches and supermarkets are easily accessible. The location is ideal, thanks again for a great stay!"
