"We truly had one of our best travel experiences ever. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with singing and dancing, which immediately made us feel special. The entire staff was incredibly friendly—more like family than hotel staff. The location itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Serengeti. The resort facilities are top-notch. The tents are beautifully decorated and furnished, offering comfort while blending perfectly with the natural surroundings. We had amazing close encounters with zebras just outside our tents, and at night, we could hear lions roaring nearby—an unforgettable and thrilling experience. Ommairi, the manager, was outstanding and ensured everything ran smoothly. Our safari guide, Steven, was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and a true expert in wildlife. His open safari vehicle was especially perfect for photography, giving us clear, unobstructed views. We were sent off with more singing and dancing, which was a lovely and emotional farewell. The only thing we would recommend adding is a small air heater for the very cold nights and early mornings in July. Aside from that, everything was truly exceptional."

"A Dream Safari Experience in the Heart of the Serengeti Staying at Escarpment Serengeti was an absolutely surreal experience! This luxury camp immerses you right in the heart of the Serengeti, and sleeping in the beautifully appointed tents was both comfortable and luxurious. The location is unbeatable - we were even treated to the sound of a lion keeping us company for the first two nights! To top it all off, we had the incredible privilege of watching the wildebeest migration right from the lounge area on our last night followed by watching sunset with my tour guides & staff, which offers stunning views over the endless plains of the Serengeti. The staff truly made the stay special, they were incredibly helpful and attentive, making you feel like part of the family. One particularly memorable experience was when the housekeeping team arranged a special morning game drive just for me. Although it wasn’t safe to walk in the tall grass (I'd asked to go for a morning walk) they made sure I didn’t miss out on the wildlife. We encountered zebras, Thomson's gazelles, giraffes, and of course, the wildebeest migration. They even helped me capture the moment with a fun photo shoot, taking plenty of pictures and videos. It was such a thoughtful and accommodating gesture that made the experience even more unforgettable. I can’t recommend Escarpment Serengeti enough, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit! "Horrible service. Did not stay due to a missed flight and poor communication with the property. Contacted the property multiple times over months with the same request and they rarely if ever responded. When I contacted them about missing my flight they had the audacity to inform me that I "only booked for 1 person" which contradicted my many emails and the hotels.com booking for 1 room with 2 adults. Decided to cut ties and stay at a much nicer hotel in Arusha instead of further dealing with this property. I have never in my life given a 1 star review, but this feels justified. "
