"I am so thankful to have selected the Orloff as our place to stay in Hydra. First, there’s the beautifully appointed rooms with excellent beds (as Americans who like a King-size, plush mattress) and soft linens. The room had a Nespresso machine, water kettle and refrigerator. We always had hot water and great water pressure in the shower and our bathroom. "This place was a true delight! We spent 3 nights on Hydra and wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was lovely, clean and extremely comfortable. And did I mention large? Downstairs was a little living room, closet and bathroom. Upstairs in the loft was a deliciously comfortable bed with another sitting area. "Perfectly located close to port, many surrounding tavernas, swimming options, part of the Hydra magic.
Hilda, the owner is an outstanding hostess. She made sure we were totally comfortable and gave us great recommendations. The continental breakfasts on the terrace were great. The Phaedra Hotel was endorsed by Rick Steves for good reason.
No doubt, we will return. We now have a friend in Hydra - Hilda! "
